I'd like some input on who the best player for each discipline of poker is, and also, who you think the best player in the world is, and makes them so great at each or all games.

Winning the main event doesn't make you the best player, it's only one tournament ffs.

you obviously know nothing about the pokers. A 9000 person tourney, when there are that many people in it, variance is not really a factor anymore and the best player in the tourney will win it more often than not.

I mean, I guess if people had the answer to this, then he probably wouldn't be the best player.

Specifically, I was asking if there was one thing that he does better than all other players? Or is it a combination of many things that makes him so great? It's probably the latter, but I wonder if there is something that sticks out that puts him on another level.

I think the top online cash game players. I hate all the fanatism that`s going on with PA, Townsend, David Benyamine and alikes, but look, Brian went to Vegas and won like 2.5million in a couple of days in the big game (most of it in PLO-not his best game) against veteran live players like sammy etc ..

Also, I think the top online players are making more $$ then the top live players, so why wouldn`t the live players like Barry, Ted F., Chip Reese take a shot at all the money being online.
