poker in ct??
 

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes. I am looking for a home game near me so I can practice and learn more. I play at foxwoods when I play live games but I was hoping to be able to play with some friendly people that would be willing to talk about the game afterwords and share the wisdom as it were. Anyway, I live in the putnam area and if anyone wants another person for their home game let me know.

Yeah, I feel exactly the same way. Just moved to CT, so I can't talk/play poker whenever I feel like anymore. I live in New Haven though.

I'll be hosting a 2+2 home game sometime this summer (Hamden). We've had a few in the last 2 years. I'll post a thread in this forum when the time comes...

If anyone else want's in, just post in this thread (I bookmark it for later reference).

Still looking for a regular game though....

I haven't been able to attend any of the past CT games but would really like to make the next one.

I have a nice casino quality chip set that I would not mind using if a home game got started up close enough to me that I could attend. I live in Putnam but would be willing to drive a bit to play. Maybe we could get something together.

I'd be interested in any limit game below 30-60. (mixed games are good)

Let me know, I can make it just about anywhere any day of the week.

Also, there are lots of games in the Hartford area.

So i just moved to new haven and would be fine hosting, but I am seriously short on chairs. I have a standard table that can probably seat 8, and clay chips, but like 2 chairs. If anyone has folding chairs, maybe we could get something going...

whatever anyone wants ill run. i run a great sng struture. 200bb to start. i wouldnt mind playing some 200max 1-2 or .50-1 if thats better for some of you. id realy be interested in playing some 4-8 to 10-20 limit but def post some ideas on what people would like

I'd like to attest that Dave runs an excellent game, and that REALLY is his fridge!

I might be good for the 21st. The 14th and the 5th are probably out for me. If you went all the way to August 12th, that should be good for me too. I'm sure I could convince Kevin to come too.

heh. well, I'm not married. I'm real fired up for a 2+2 game at casper's, but for those degenerates in the New Haven area who can't wait that long, PM me and lets see if we can't get a game going. Something weekday evenings would be sweet, but I'm up for suggestions.

In the last two 2+2 games I hosted, we did a $50 tourney followed by a couple hours of a complete mix of games at lower stakes (0.5/1 to 2/4). JoeU called a lot of stud games, I dealt a bit of O8, we threw in some crazy pineapple, razz and 2-7td, and hilarity ensued....

good times...

i live in Bristol and would be interested in some $50-200 tourneys and low limit side games, only 18 though, don't know if you guys are down with that or not.
