Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry

Some good stuff in here. For those of you who don't follow European Soccer, Steve Nash is a basketball player...probably the best ever. Henry ain't bad at soccer either. So apparently Nash wanted to punch Bowen. |

what did you think of Henry's comment about Nash's pass?

Re: Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry
cool article.
[ QUOTE ] SN: Who are your favorite athletes to watch? TH: You, Tony Parker and Allen Iverson. Allen, because he always plays from the heart. And Tony has the same view you have on the court -- that soccer player's view. [/ QUOTE ] or cuz he's his french lover. Tony Parker really rakes in those assists. |

So what do you think they should call it? TH: Throwball. SN: How about airball? [/ QUOTE ] I am so goddamn confused right now. I couldn't figure out if it was fake or not until about halfway through. I'm still not certain. |
Re: Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry
I found it a very cool, but weird interview.

Re: Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry
ha Nash sounds like a whiny baby about he Bowen stuff.
|
Re: Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry
Yea, I don't get all the Bowen hate. He's only had what, 50 undercuts, a few knees to the nuts and a karate kick to the face? They are all obviously accidents, he's just on the bad side of variance.
I mean, look what Nash did in that SA-PHX series alone. First, he fake bleeds everywhere just for attention while Parker was obviously in a lot of pain, then he fouls Bowen's knee hard with his testicles, then he flops into the scorers table when Horry was just trying to play hockey. What a [censored]. |

what did you think of Henry's comment about Nash's pass? [/ QUOTE ] Meh, he's trying to show how soccer players can relate. Wasn't an intentional diss. |

[/ QUOTE ]haha, thats not what I mean. Henry sounds so arrogant there. As if nothing amazes him. "Henry, did you see that guys perfect score on the dive!" "But he has a soccer players mentality, that quadruple jacknife wasn't amazing to me, it was OBVIOUS!" |

Elite soccer players and Elite PG's see the whole field/court and make passes that average players cant/wouldnt see look easy |
Re: Steve Nash Interviews Thierry Henry
Oh Bowen's a bitch, but for someone like Nash who's played soccer his whole life, he should be used to it. The kind of stuff TH was talking about goes on at all competitive levels of soccer, from age 12 on up.
I'm glad you brought up the Horry thing. Man I loved that. Nash was so trying to milk it on the ground, then he snaps up once Bell gets involved and acts all tough. http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/6299/7603vf4.jpg http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8901/74151958dx0.jpg http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/2...orry195pi8.jpg http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/8836/horryds3.jpg |
