marchron checks with the intention of folding. Top pair weak kicker does not win many family pots from the early position. It's a holding that sure can lose you some money though. I suppose the 3 running cards may make it worth a check raise if everyone folds to a button bet. You could call for one bet to see the turn if nothing heats up. But I sure don't bet into that field with your holding.

Unless this is a really strange table, I think its an auto check and evaluate for me.

You might have the only K out but I don't see leading into a crowd with a horrible kicker and a flush draw on the board a good thing with that many people left to act.

Reasons to bet:
—YO TENGO TRIPS LDO BETBETBET.
—I have no idea if MP2 will bet again, and letting this get checked through would suck yaks.

Reasons to check:
—I still have the lowest possible kicker. MP2 is unlikely to have bet into six opponents with total air, so her having the case K is a possibility, and any other Kx will own my ass.
—I'd be laying 7-1 to the field, still big enough to call lotsa stuff with the mega-implieds conceivable with five players still in this far.

When in doubt, donk it? Or do I check — and for what purpose, check/calling or check/raising?

definite check/raise or donkbet if youre not sure whether MP1 is gonna bet. the case K is pretty unlikely here, and even if he does have it, putting as much money as possible into there is the best play so far. youre WA most of the time here.

check/fold the river if a club hits.

In the end, the yaks got sucked; I checked and it was checked around.

I think Eskimo (or ESKiMo or 35|&lt;1|\/|0 or however he spells his name) and infinity were right; I should have donked. It was my last chance to get flush draws and sundry other hands to pay off. The river came 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]; I bet and everybody folded.
