Sweet brag. I assume no one else is loving the 6/12 right now since you are simultaneously all the 6/12 games at once and killing all of them.

But seriously, from my limited recent experience Canterbury is a nitfest compared to a few years ago. And no, I cannot make as much money off the nits as I could off the maniacs who didn't know what beat what.

I meant to say "I assume no one else is loving the 6/12 right now since you are simultaneously playing all the 6/12 games at once and killing all of them."

The nits are even terrible. I was in the 6/12 two weeks ago.

You'll hit your downswing soon enough. Idiots don't always miss.

Is it possible to beat a FR LHE game for 2.5-3bb/hr? The 6/12 players are really, really bad...

ok lets be honest. CB in general is just full of terrible players and i thought most people knew this already.

Spread NL 400-1000 and ill play there.

mitch can attest to the fact that besides the 15/30 game 6/12 is by far the best money game at CP... if you cant consitently crush that game you shouldnt be playing poker

i still contend that the retardation level shown by 8/16 players is oherworldly.

i know a guy who has 500 hours at 8/16 at $30/hr. I sometimes play that game instead of the 15, as it is just soooooo good.

variance in the 8/16 is WAY to much for me to handle.. i had to to cool off for the 1st two months of this year because of the 8/16... 6/12 fits me perfect and i love it, i feel very priveliged to haave CP :P btw pokerbob... what are the limit structures at commerce?? im thinking of making a trip out west

Bob is right that the 8/16 game is maniacal and if one had a large enough sample size I wouldnt be suprised if he/she beat the game for 2bb/hr. I was beating that game for more than that over a 400 hr stretch and then promptly went on the worst downswing of my career before winning it back online. Though I dont have alot of hours in the 6 game, I believe it is almost as loose as the 8 game with alot less aggression and the aggression that is present clearly indicates 2nd or stone cold nuts. That makes the game extremely easy to play.

GBL Commerce has 3/6, 9/18, 20/40, 40/80. All are fantastic. The 20 and 40 being probably the most profitable games on the planet.

im glad im not the only one that took a huge downswing at the 8 game at cp... i seriously considered scaling back my playing because of it.. but i soon realized the major diff betweeen that and the 6 game.. thanks for the info on commerce too mitch

Re: minnesota 6/12 CP players loving it

6/12 is also my game at the Park and is the best of them all in my opinion. Daytime can be nitty and late night can be uber loose no fold'em hold'em but from say 6PM - 2AM the game plays mostly loose/passive so you can see many multiway flops cheap with speculative hands and win big pots when you hit.

No need to make tricky plays or bluff, just play ABC and jam it when you hit big hands/draws and you will rake it in.

If you can stand the variance 8/16 is good also but very LAG. If you play it be prepared to either win or lose 2 or 3 racks.
