Not sure how much u know here .. i live east of beirut ( a place called Ashrafieh) .. sammy was supposed to come spend some time here .. but some sh*t is goin on in the north ... so not sure abt it any more ... when was the last time u visited?

Are they going to continue playing? Presumably aba could find other games out there for which he might want a considerable amount of money, so it's not necessarily just that he wanted to take more out of Sammy specifically.

Yes and no, I'm guessing Brian wouldn't play 4k/8k NL with Farha for the same reason he didn't take this flip.

I'm guessing that Brian could realistically go broke from flips like that.

If the sole reason he gave was he couldnt get cash in Vegas, i seriously doubt he is telling the whole story.

How can anyone in his position struggle to get half a million loan for a couple weeks - im sure he wouldnt struggle to get his bank (or whatever) to fax a copy of his savings account etc for such a purpose.

To put it in context, Mike Matusow is worth nothing, is a pure degen bingo merchant who can get loans all the time (though admittedly for smaller amounts).

I wouldnt be shocked if Sammy wouldnt put the bet on credit with him if he negotiated it as he is sure he will get paid.
