Event #6 - Is Sklansky still in?

Event #6. I got knocked out around #300. David was still in with ~9k. Blinds were 200-400 (4-800 limit).

Anyone know how if he's still around?

From www.worldseriesofpoker.com:

Color-Up Woes Continue
Our re-start is still delayed while Tournament Director Jack Effel and the floor staff address a color-up issue on Table 63. Gary Styczynsky returned from break to find only 21,000 of his approximately 45,000 stack remaining. From what the players and staff can tell, the correct amount of chips is sitting on their table, but were improperly distributed among its players after the color-up. They are currently discussing going to the security cameras to determine the error.

...

Finally Back Underway
It was finally determined that at Table 63, 27,000 chips were mistakenly added to Michael Banks' stack during the color-up. They were returned to Gary Styczynsky and we are back in action at the $1,500 limit hold'em event. Blinds are up to 2000-4000 with betting limits of 4000-8000. The average stack is 60,600. 45 players remain in the field.

They have had ridiculous 45 min. delay color up problems every event. I have never heard of color ups taking so long.

Only 10 left and he's middle of the pack. Final table bound!

It's hard to make the final table when there's still 27 left.

Cardplayer sucks. I glanced at the chip counts and it said 10 left. Everyone below was listed as busted. But you're right at the top it says 25 left. F Cardplayer.

Lol I saw that on PN but couldn't remember which forum this thread was in. Tony G's reporters are certainly bringing us the facts.

Colour ups taking so long probably has something to do with what happened at last years main event. Probably a good thing they are double checking etc.

Jimmy Gorham (jgorham on 2+2) won over a million and a bracelet last year and has a big stack at the 1500 limit final table. Dunno how he has flown under the radar, his win last year happened so late in the series I think everyone was tired and just forgot about it.

Also high stakes limit holdem pro and all around awesome degenerate Hansu has a ton of chips in that event.

No one is supposed to notice....

As for the chip up disaster, the dealer pushed one players pile of 5k chips to another player. The second player said he wasn't sure how many chips he had and they had to go to the camera. Eventually they realized the dealer made a mistake and that dealer was fired.

Good luck Jimmy, when you get heads up with Hansu, I bet he'd make a deal with you where winner gets both first and second place money and loser gets nothing

Hansu was tough but fun to play with. When Sklansky busted, Hansu said(not loud enough for Sklansky to here) "Bye Sklansky, you can't always get aces, you nit" I laughed a little.
