Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
Haven't been playing for ages, thought I'd make a foray into online poker. Some help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Are you in America? If so, you're pretty limited

I ask because Third Bullet is at the top when you go to the page in the first place, and it being the top site for low-limit NL doesn't sound right to me. It looks like the 5x Microgaming (Prima) sites would be a good start...and there's a few more available than BW lists. I don't play NL, so I'm not sure what the quality of play/number of tables is like there...maybe an NL player can chime in. |

Ahhh, I didn't click the Update Ranking Requirements page. A fool am I. Thanks for advice.

Stars, now, and it's not even close. 25%, 7.5x effective until the 10Bth hand hits, and doubled VPP mean you'll make Silver if you're fast about it.

Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
OP really isn't rolled for 25NL with just $200. The bonus clears kind of slow at 10NL but maybe its not too bad with the doubled FPP's till next week.
Id think any 5x's prima will be easy monies for OP. |
Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
Full tilt poker 100% sign up up to $600 free plus you can get rake back 27% pretty sweet deal

Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
I'd stay away from FT until he gets through stars and Prima ones and he builds up his BR. Why eat $400 now on a not so great bonus when there are better ones out there?

Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
Buy a time machine and go back three years.
Other than that, if you're looking to improve your roll quickly you're probably still better off whoring some casinos to give yourself more of a base for poker. There's still some very good casino bonuses out there, though not that many. beatingbonuses.com has the best list. If you're dead set on playing poker straight away the Prima 5x ones are probably the best. I found the lower limit NL games there very soft last I played there late last year. WPEX's 100% rakeback is also a good deal although the game selection isn't good. |
Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
ClearPlay is a con, bonus whoring with -EV. I guess there is a reason why casinos can still offer these bonuses despite heavy abuse. :-)

see bonuswhores for that info... http://bonuswhores.com/poker-skins/prima-network.php [/ QUOTE ] The only good Prima bonus listed at BW is Golden Riviera. After all BW is just an affiliate site and it's not even close to being the ultimate wisdom in bonushworing. The best current Prima sign ups I'm aware of are golden riviera, crazy poker, pokerroom la, betdirect, boyle poker ( has no neteller, just cc), pokerrewards. anyway, clearing Prima bonuses with NL10 is a PITA. Better play FL or come back when playing NL25 or 50. |

Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
Im almost in the same situation, around 150$ banroll,
cant figure any easy bonus right now...best idea i think is to play nl10 and wait for big hand...usually you get paid at this level,,,,and of course many bbbeatttsss |
Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
I'm amazed that nobody's said that he should clear the sign-up bonus at party (and all reloads thereafter). It's easy at ANY limit (even at NL5 every third hand is a raked hand) because a raked hand really means a raked hand there, not a dollar in rake, if you contributed to the pot, maybe. Deposit for the full bonus but play only with the portion that's your roll.
An additional bonus of playing there is that you're not getting tighter games for your fast bonus. it's quite likely you'll even want to stay. Screw rakeback, bad players are worth far more than 1bb/100. And sign up through PSO, an extra $120 that you'll clear before the full sign-up bonus is so good I'm having trouble believing that it's not an error. And I'm not just saying this because I want more juicy australians here. |
Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
Thanks all for help. I think I'll be putting all this off for around a month until my University exam period ends. Not quite making a living out of poker at the moment =D

Re: Starting with b/r of $200. Best way to bonus whore it up?
I think PSO has a free 75.00 on Party offer. I did it last year.

I guess there is a reason why Fortune Lounge locked the accounts of thousands of players using Clearplay strategy a couple months ago, some while in the middle of playing the bonus... or a reason why several groups offering Clearplay bonuses have added limited per group or required playthrough restrictions. |

I dont think there are any 5x prima anymore. Only one is Golden Riviera but Ive heard users from here have had problems with that site in the past. |
