Need to get my anger out before i loose another monitor. Just started playing on stars after playing on party.

Comming from the cashgames i was expecting less variance but omg was i wrong:

Are runs like this playing SNG's standard? This is afterall only the 6s at stars.

Total i have quite a few sngs under the belt at party but this just hit me so much harder as i decieded only to play SNG's/MTT's.

And this is indeed the worst run i've had.

At myst:
The timing is what hurts the most. A run like this would break 1/3 new players im pretty sure.

bad in the way it relly messes with my head.

But i must admit i thought runs like this was very seldom, when teachings/books tell you 30 buy-ins is a good bankroll.

No but loosing 50 buy-ins and counting will make your head spin!

Taking a few days break. Last straw was QQQ getting called by 5 high and making runner runner flush.

Im going to focus on beer and summer for a few days!

-25 buyins on $55 on party in a day is my worst run, there are good and bad days for sng players. At lower limit I really haven't experienced much swings, seldom more than 8 otm in a row. I play $16 on stars now and have 70+ buyins, movin up soon when I feel confident enough. I play 4 (or more) at a time. Shove all in ftw. It can really be tough when you never win a hand no matter how big a favourite you are (or how big an underdog you are). Especially annoying is the bubble play, normally my favourite part, when they call you with inferior hands and you never win a 60/40 or reversed.. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] headsup also, winning headsups can boost your br nicely and when you start to lose everything it will suck [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Looks to me like you got high on yourself and decided to start playing like you were super superior to everyone and started bluffing a lot more then usual.

I don't know how much to necessarily trust sharkscope to be really accurate, but then again it is only tournaments it watches and not cash, so the fact I dabble in cash and drop some / lose some screws with my own graphs compared to my scope listing.

Nuclear ive gone over the hands and the setups are brutal, no way to get out of. 4 of the last few was due to me getting mroe aggressive/tilting and is why i decieded to take a break.

But when you loose AA on 4 tables simutanilious on the bubble you know that the doomswitch is wanting a sacrifice from you!

Hopefully spacegravy can give me a little advice later when I get online because this run has literraly broken my spirit.

I have saved all hand histories and is still going over them and im still like WTF happened!

Seen flop: 16.2%
Pre Raise: 11.2%
Pre Agg Factor: 2
Total Aggression Factor Post Flop 3.6

Not sure if that helps anything but it does look like i fold 100% "folded SB to steal"

A wild stat is 49 QQ over these sngs and im down almost 10k chips. I knew the ladies were [censored] me, lol!

johnny king there are better ways to make money than playing SNG's, in the world of poker AND outside of it.

I like pain. I do play plo cash and do okay but i really like to play sng/mtt and I do have a job. (poker is a hobby)

But with a lot of time on my hands due to a broken legg and some bruised ribs from a car accident I decieded to start punishing myself thru donk and goes.

(Summer and chasing girls is not so fun with a broken legg)
