Goal: 100k hands this month and hopefully move up to 12-tabling 50 NL 6max by the end of the month. (Currently 8~12-tabling 25). Winrate: Anything positive should be nice.

Oh and this is the worst beat I've had percentage-wise ever in terms of getting all the money in when I'm ahead. I was confused when the cards were shown.

Got a coaching session with FruityPro last Friday. I was getting my ass kicked at 50NL (man does a 20BI downswing suck), and wasn't sure if it was me or the doomswitchthing.
He put my mind at ease a bit and plugged some minor leaks (especially tightening up OOP). Played 3K hands after that over the weekend and finally ran good (7PTBB/100). Yay me!

I'm going to try to hold on to the positive mindset and rake in the $$!

Last month I played 17,500 hands and ran 3.5 ptbb/100 and I'm dissapointed because I seem to spew and tilt more than necessary. Goal is to start actively posting on the forum and play more hands. Want to run at about 6-8ptbb/100 over 30k hands so I can start playing nl 100 by the end of the month.

I'm sure after a nice break and spending lots of time with your gf and friends you'll be back. You can always be a 2tabling pro that lures other TAGs in because he's not playing 8 tables.

Have an enjoyable summer away from the tables anyway.

the book of bluffs was the first book that really made me play goot. the examples are good and concepts were definitely an 'aha' moment for me. as a book, its not very good but for what it did to my game it was incredible.

i recommend anyone whos been breaking even to get it, one of the very few poker books i'd ever consider recommending for NL skills

But I did win my 2nd $200+ pot of April 2 nights ago. I will post the wins when I get home from work...

So thac you're leaving pokah - yet posting here
I'm sure after a nice break and spending lots of time with your gf and friends you'll be back. You can always be a 2tabling pro that lures other TAGs in because he's not playing 8 tables.

Have an enjoyable summer away from the tables anyway.

You better get some practice in for the uNL tourney with bounties :hint:

munkey [BTW yah I see I'm not a noob anymore ]

Haha yeah, I have extra time at night after my job (if you haven't heard I have a 40 hour weekday job from 4am til 2pm, and it makes me pretty tired after I get home so I can't play much even if I wanted to, but the main reason I'm not playing is because I wanna use my bankroll to help furnish our new apartment and pay for all the bills while my gf looks for a new job.

I may return, but I'm actually quite happy with life since I've quit.. it was fun coming home from work and losing a week's paycheck in 30 minutes. That's when I knew I shouldn't play anymore.

Are pokerstars 1-1 sng's insanely ez or have i just had a good run today (first time playing them)

If anyone plays these regularly, where do they get harder? What kind of ROI's do people get in these things at the 10's and 20's...not really looking to play them too much, just kind of curious.
