So I actually got PAH to recognize a table I'm playing at on the new beta, but the positioning of all the stats is F'd up. Looks like party changed the seat numbers and positioning.
Would love to get some input in this thread on how to get PAHUD up and working.
Help! I don't want to actually have to learn to play poker!!

aaah - on your C:drive, the party directory has changed. Found my hand histories now under Party Gaming.

Hey guys

The new update installs to a directory called partygaming. Just add it. I found this out on the PAHUD forums.

But the display is completely F'ed up.
All the stats just appear randomly on the poker table.

I did this but the only thing that comes up is the size of pot and mucked hands features...nothing else. Anyone?

So now pokertracker doesn't know if you're playing on 6max or 10max. Same [censored] Stars does.

Ugh, this sucks.

edit: To those of you (teddyFBI, at least) who were saying that the stats were displaying in random locations, did you try right-clicking the table in PA HUD and clicking "treat as 6max"? i think that'll solve it.

i added the new directory but i get nothing. tables dont even show up on the menu. i play 6max.

If you play hands are they still stored on your harddrive? I.E. even if pokertracker doesn't work right now, we can still play and collect them next week?

Why are people so surprised that extra programs don't work after the upgrade? Even a basic knowledge of computers should explain that these extra programs will have to adapt.

People aren't surprised, they're irritated.

One would assume, for example, that Party wouldn't change the *format* of its hand histories (by removing the word 6max, for example). It's not unreasonable to hope for a little bit of consistency.

Why does this ommission matter if we're using PAHUD to filter for # of players (assuming PAHUD comes back in a few days).

PT usually has two separate categories for full ring and 6max, because they're two different games.

Some players like to compare 6-handed action at former full-ring tables vs. 6max tables, to see if there's any correlation between good/bad play at each.

Some players like to sort their own stats in PT (VPIP/PFR, for example, should be different at a shorthanded game than a full game).

Since this change makes these things more difficult, people are annoyed.

That made the difference for me. PartyGaming alone did not do anything, when I set it to the sub-fodler PartyPoker at .../partygaming/partypoker then it fired right up.

Not sure what else the problem might be for you guys. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Now if someone can just fix this 6-max thing...

also, in pt i cant select the party gaming folder, it just keeps opening sub folders. any help?

Chalk,

Make a notepad file called partypoker.exe and make sure it is actually an .exe file (not just a text file named partypoker.exe - so you may have to enable file extensions to rename it properly). Next, take that file you made and stick it in that .../partygaming/partypoker folder. Then you just need to point PT to that imaginary .exe file you created by opening up the Party import window in PT and changing the program file location.

Do that and you should be good to go.

I'm sure it has been said. But in PA HUD just add C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker
The stats for everyone showed up perfectly and I even have the tables resized smaller.

I just switched to the "Generic" auto-import option in PT and added the new PartyGaming hh folder.

Pat said he was going to work on a patch so we can go back to the Party-specific auto-import window.

Ditto on the PAHUD 6-max issue.
