How long have checks from poker stars taken you?
 

Just curious? It's been over a month for me and I still haven't gotton a legit response yet telling me wtf is actualy going on with my money. It actualy pisses me off though because I nead this money for rent. I've gotton the run around twice already trying to cash my money out, but nobody will answer my friggen emials. LEEEEEE please help me?

It was a small check for 500$, but I wanted it over a month ago. I'm getting close to cash broke with all my money in FT and Stars, and I hate the fact that I only cashed out 500 a long time ago but it still hasn't gotton to me.

This seems remarkably odd. I've gotten 6 checks, none have taken more than 5 business days.

I have had similar bad experiences with PokerStars check cashouts recently. After waiting about a month for a couple of checks they were going to cancel them so I could cash out again [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] but then they said they were returned as undeliverable. Very odd since one of the 3 checks I requested (the middle one) made it to me.

Very confusing and inaccurate email correspondence with support about this too. If they just told me they don't know WTF is going on that would be a lot better and I'd understand it given the current state of cashouts/deposits.

I would go out of my way to make sure all my cashouts are 1k+ so they are delivered by courier.

They don't deliver by courier anymore.

I would hate to be a player who is waiting for a $30k check in the mail and be the victim of fraud.

I've always gotten a check from Stars a week after cashout, and by regular postal mail. And they're always responsive to my e-mails on other matters. Stars has a very good reputation for response. It's odd that you're having so much trouble.

On Feb 26 I requested a ck for $700+. They sent it by regular mail and I got it 8 business days later.

12th day of waiting for a $3500 check. first cashout since NT went down. i'll give them their 15 day grace period, then we'll take it from there.

Usually my checks arrive in 7 days to the tee.

I'm now going on 10+ days for my latest check though. Something has slowed up on their end.

Thats what I'm going through right now, but it's insane because it was over a week ago when I tried to get a different check sent but they still havn't sent me anything telling me wtf is going on?

This kind of thing more common all the time since neteller pulled. Has been plenty of time for poker sites to get their [censored] together.
I have pulled most of my roll offline before Neteller crap out but I definately going to reduce it to bare bones if possible....starting to get a bad feeling about all this.

i cashed out on 3/28, 3/31, and 4/9. i received all three checks on 4/13.

I've had 10+ checks before, never taking more than 10 days.

However this last request of $4,500 has taken almost a month now. I emailed stars, they said the new payment processor accidentaly didn't give me the faster withdrawal due to being over $1,000 and I should wait 1 more week or email them back.

Well, they actualy got back to me with an answer today. They canceled my check, and have credited my account with the 500 + an extra 25. Not that I'm upset to have a free $25 or anything, but I would enjoy it a lot more if they would just apply that money to overnighting me a new check or something.

So 6 weeks after my initial withdrawl, and I'm back to step one with having to withdrawl all over again.

Does anyone know if there's any way to pay a little extra or something to have your check sent quicker?

I have been waiting for a while too. My cashier only showed the option to withdraw in Euro$. PS support said that a senior staff could change the currency manually for me. However, it has taken longer than expected. Cheque issued April 05 but when I emailed them, they said it hasn't been sent yet...

i did receive my check yesterday, within their grace period that was given to me by correspondence through email. went and deposited my check @ my bank today, no dirty looks, no questions asked. a+ fun.

My last couple withdrawls have taken longer than normal as well. Usually I get them within 3 days, but this is day 5 and still no check...

I am wondering if the longer check times is due to stars wanting people to use the paytru card and are hoping that if people get sick of waiting for checks they will start using paytru more heavily.

I got 2 checks in Feb within 5-6 days, right now though I have been waiting since April 5th.

Since about early March the standard for me has been request a few checks, wait three weeks or so, one of the checks may show up if I'm running good, have the "lost" checks cancelled, rinse and repeat. Very frustrating [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I dunno why you guys are having such problems:

I requested a cashout on April 10th and it came thru a courier and was at my door on April 13.

I requested a 2 second cashout on April 17th and I recieved it today by courier.

Here is an email I recieved from a Stars rep:

Hello xxxxxx,

Thank you for writing.

Your cheque was sent out on 04/10/2007 through Express Mail, not courier.

We have switched to a new cheque processor as a result of recent
events. This switch has come with a few notable changes for all players
in the USA:

1) The maximum you can request on any one cheque is $5000. If you wish
to cashout more than this, you will need to use an alternate cashout
method. Please contact security@pokerstars.com for more information
about what options are available to you.

2) All cheques, regardless of the amount, are sent by Express Mail - we
can no longer deliver cheques via UPS or FedEx or any other courier
service, even if you are willing to pay the fee. Please note that
Express mail does not come with tracking numbers for their deliveries,
so we cannot provide tracking data for your cheque.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.
