Full Tilt Poker rakeback

Is the FTP rakeback cap (27%) a real cap or is there a way to go beyond?

Also the method is dealt or contributed?

Yes, 27% is the absolute max allowed any affiliate offering more will be closed down. FTP is currently using the dealt method.

Alot of affiliates offer a signifigant amount more and there is no way that Tilt will find out. Don't let these goody two shoe affiliates bring you down. I'm sure your being bombarded with an insane amount of PM as I'm typing this. I happened to find a person that I trusted to give me a better deal, but I would be weary of this deal from someone you don't know.

And what happens if FTP does find out the affiliate is doing this? If they shut the affiliate down, how will you get your rakeback? That seems like a lot of risk for a small percentage increase.

Maybe they don't want to be sleazy like others that change terms after players have already agreed to the existing ones.

Just curious, how much more is it? I was looking at the FAQ for FT affiliates, and it looks like their payments get capped at 35%. A PM would be fine if you don't want to discuss this in public.

^^no matter how much u trust an affilate, sometimes its out of their control and u have to figure that FT will eventaully find out...ur just asking for a lot of trouble later on, imo...

Re: Full Tilt Poker rakeback

I received no PM with rakeback > 27% and I don't suppose any sane affiliate would offer that to a new member (regged few hours before posting).

I'm just choosing which site to try now (the one with the best deal obviously).

Well, as I understand the real max rake is between 27-34%. I'll see.

Re: Full Tilt Poker rakeback

^^technically, the "real" max RB is set at 27% for all affiliates...that's what FT has set and several different affiliates offer this, check the banners on this site for links to several reputable ones...

Re: Full Tilt Poker rakeback

surely the biggest players like aba and patrick would be offered much more than 27% to play at full tilt

Re: Full Tilt Poker rakeback

As RakeTracker said a few more percent is not worth the risk. Any player who believes an affiliate willing to violate Full Tilt's policy won't be more than willing to screw them is being very naive.

There are plenty of players on Full Tilt generating alot more rake than them. Somehow at the stakes they play though I seriously doubt rakeback is a major concern for either of them.

just a rumor, but i thought the FT pros got 110% RB, not sure about guys like aba and PA...still, even at fairly high limits, especially limit, the RB will pile up quickly anyway...

If they do it would come from FTP directly and not through an affiliate. That's the difference.
