I would definitely rather bet/fold the river than check/fold it, your hand is too good to check/fold. There is enough in the pot relative to what a bet would cost that if you check/fold you're missing a bunch of value from not getting to showdown.

OP: yes, bet fold here for sure. He hasn't repped the flush yet so why should you just assume that's what he made on the turn? You're still ahead of something like 2pair so try to eek some value on the river. Easy fold to a raise.

This is wrong (depending on opponents... but without reads I don't think you are correct).

B/F &gt; C/F &gt; C/C

Once you get to the river I don't think many hands that you have beat will be betting and I think there are a still a lot of hands that are in his range to call your bet with where you're ahead. You're not afraid of getting raised here as a bluff. I think 2 pair will be checking through this river often since you bet the turn. I think check folding is a ton better than check calling, but I think betting out for half pot is better than anything else by far.

Folding to a bet like 17 in a 25 pot is pretty bad to me, I like c/cing way better than c/fing too.

2pair/sets raise this flop, marginal one pairs won't VB the river, you're smoked on the turn in this 3way pot. Everyone is all hot on b/f this river, but what worse hands are we really expecting to call here that make any sense?

We get to showdown a lot of the time by betting and if we are raised, we can fold easily. Don't underestimate how terrible your opponents calls might be.
