Do NOT use Moneybookers with UB

I attempted to deposit to Ultimate Bet after not having played on that site in 9 months last night through MoneyBookers. The transaction appeared to go through fine and the amount was deducted from my moneybookers account.

After two hours and the funds not being in my UB account, I contacted the UB deposit support number, was placed on hold for approximately 15 minutes while they checked their system, then was told to contact moneybookers because they had no record of the transaction.

Eight hours later I called Moneybookers when their call center opened and spoke to a CS rep that assured me that the transaction (as well as two party deposits) had gone through and that they would resend the confirmation info to Ultimate Bet. He also indicated that if there was a problem and I needed the money returned to my account it would have to be done on UB's end.

I waited a while and contacted UB again and was told by a huge [censored] of a CS rep that they hadn't had access to Moneybookers on their end for 20 days and that I would have to try another deposit method.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that when he told me to deposit using another method, I asked "Why would I send more money when your company is still listing a payment method they can't honour?' and his reply was 'Well I am pretty sure the other ones still work.'

Yeah thanks buddy.

that is amazing. Really, what is going on with US poker? It's like even the sites are making the situation worst for itself. This kinda stuff can't be encouraging for casual people who just wanna play some poker.

What about your Party deposits? I also have deposits to Party and UB hanging from yesterday, gone from MB, not on the sites. I'm wondering if this isn't something on MB's end after all.

Nothing yet but I have used Moneybookers with party before, and while it has never taken this long, I have far less fear that party will screw me.

Can anyone confirm that they have sucessfully used MoneyBookers to deposit anywhere in the last couple weeks?

I've used Moneybookers a lot, mostly at Microgaming and Playtech casinos, and never had any problems at all. My last deposits and withdrawals were less than a week ago.

I'm still waiting on Party & UB. I've phoned Moneybookers, they say everything's done on their end. I've emailed Party & UB, waiting to hear back.

Re: Do NOT use Moneybookers with UB

I just withdrew $500 on UB to a newly created MBK account. I haven't verified anything, just signed up. So do I need to somehow verify myself before I can recieve the money? How long does it usually take for the money to appear in my Moneybookers account? I got an email from UB saying the request was succsesful, and the money is not showing up in my cashier there, but nothing heard from MBK.

Were you able to withdraw from UB without making an MB deposit first? If so, wow!

If you've signed up for MB, you can receive money before completing any of the three verifications on the "limits" page, if that's what you mean. Those just allow you to increase your transaction limits.

As to how long, I'll let others answer that...haven't withdrawn yet successfully. I will say, though, that UB is known for being a little slow for cashouts...I think some of my NT cashouts took a couple of days.

I haven't deposited any money to MB, or from MB to UB. I just choose MB as withdraw option typed in $500 (I kinda regret not testing with a somewhat smaller amount and got this email from UB:

I was hoping the money would show up on MB right away like it does on epassporte, but I'm hoping it will just take a day or two. It's only been 3.5h since I got that email from UB.

Interesting. Pretty much every site requires you to deposit with an eWallet before they'll let you withdraw to it. Let us know how it goes...if it works, this could be a great way for Canadians (and others) to get their MB funded from their existing poker bankroll.

So far it's looking great, would be better if it was instant, but I can live with waiting 1 day. I'm now going to try and deposite those $500 on party.

edit: Party deposit was instant and there were no fees to transfer from UB to PARTY via MB. I did not have to deposit on UB using MB first.

Wow...very nice. I'll post about this in the other thread. As fas as being instant, almost none of the sites get you your money instantly. Usually takes a few hour to a few days, depending on the site. One day for UB is pretty decent.
