Secrets to your beauty.
I'm trying to better my hygiene, trying to stop be a cheap skate and buy the sometimes expensive self-care products that actually do a great job. I am mostly lost on the whole thing, though, and while I plan on asking salesclerks and etc. for help, I am rather worried I'm going to get screwed in pricing, etc.
What are your guys' favorite time of cleansing products? Shampoo, razors, aftershave, skin moisturizers, body wash, deodorant, cologne, etc. Any cheap hidden gems you have to share? I've been a generic whatever-I'll-buy-it-when-I-need-it type of guy for too long, so any advice helps. |
Re: Secrets to your beauty.
There's a really good thread in El D's forum for this.

real men wash themselves with whisky and tobacco juices [/ QUOTE ] FYP Bathing in vaginal juices just doesn't seem very manly to me. - Nivea for Men products are pretty good. - I always have a bottle of Visine with me as my eyes can get pretty bloodshot from the smoke at the bar. White eyes are super important IMO. |
Re: Secrets to your beauty.
The secret is the 5am-til-5pm beauty sleep that I get every day. Also smoke and drink a lot, those make you beautiful and cool!

Re: Secrets to your beauty.
People waste way too much money on this crap (and this is why I own stock in P&G)
Unless you have skin issues, a wash cloth and cheapo bar soap will leave you smelling plenty good. I use this shampoo: http://www.suave.com/images/prod/lar...VE-MEN-2N1.jpg I think it smells good and my hair is healthy... and it cost somewhere around $1.50. I will splurge on some decent cologne (Lacoste Red, Polo Black, Burbury Brit are my preferred choices) but a bottle will last you forever if you use one spray daily so it is a good investment. Toothpaste, whatevers on sale. Mouthwash, the cheapo store brands. I'm a cheap bastard I guess. |
Re: Secrets to your beauty.
Teeth- listerine and Sonicar elite 9500 (like I just came from the dentist, I also use whitening strips every couple of months
hair- biolage shampoo and conditioner, best stuff ever, and style 'n sheen pomade, its made for black people's hair, for wave control, but it works great to style for my type of hair (horse-like) cologne- curve face- astringent, vitamin e, and clearasil face wash pits- Old spice red zone or high endurance rest of me- bath and body works "scent of a man" alchocol gel |
