my name is green?
Can somebody please change it back to the regular color?
thanks in advance. |
Re: my name is green?
Perhaps the Admins can use this thread to explain the many colors of different mods such as Eurotrash and Sniper as well as the blue authors.
|
Re: my name is green?
i have never seen these changes. eurotrash is blue on my skin and so is sniper and so are all the regular postersand the authors.

Re: my name is green?
Mat,
See this thread. You're probably using IE, and IE is probably not setting the colors correctly (because the authors have a different color for everybody else), or the authors' names are set to 'blue' regardless of the skin you are using (which is weird and should probably be changed.) Anyway, the point is, IE is still terrible. |
Re: my name is green?
i don't know how to fix anything like this. ryan will have to address this.

Re: my name is green?
fwiw I am using Firefox and my name is showing up to me as a lime green color, brighter than the normal mod color. however it only shows up that way in the thread itself.
to clarify, my name in the thread listing shows up as the regular color, but when I open the thread and see my posts, it is the lime green. I PM'd daryn and he said he saw it as the normal color. odd. |
Re: my name is green?
Eurotrash and Sniper are showing up in User colors and I use Firefox. I suspect that this has something to do with trying to find the right color for Sniper.

Re: my name is green?
what skins are you guys using
|
Re: my name is green?
I'm using Firefox version 1.5.0.10 w/ Silver Skin version 2.6.6.
Edit - Looks the same using BlueShift 1.1.01 and Firefox default 2.0. |
Re: my name is green?
This should be fixed. It's just a matter of clearing/refreshing your cache. I checked and double checked this with both browsers and multiple skins earlier.
The lighter green means the skin is automatically setting your color because you're a mod. However, I edited all the skins to remove that yesterday afternoon. The thread adanthar and iron linked explains how that came about. Anyone still browsing with an older cached version of the skin file will see Euro and Sniper as green, but that goes away as soon as the stylesheet is refreshed. Stuff like this happens with all skin edits, and it usually clears up on its own after just a bit of browsing around. |
Re: my name is green?

Euro's name is no longer green.

Re: my name is green?
All,
Try hitting refresh while viewing this thread if he's still showing in green. That actually did the trick for me. |
Re: my name is green?
Awww I liked him green. We could do with a few more people in here giving us input who aren't mods.
