Party Quiz?

Back in HS I remember my teacher gave us a quiz that helped determine our party leanings in general (i.e. more Dem/liberal or Rep/conservative). The quiz thing wasn't more than 25 questions, and probably wasn't entirely accurate, but at least gave a good guideline, etc.

I'm curious if there is an online quiz any of you are aware of that incorporates 3rd parties as well and would help determine a political party leaning. Thanks.

Will give you a chart showing your economic leanings vs. your social leanings. It doesn't mention a specific party per se, but you can have it show candidates most closely aligned to your beliefs.

Re: Party Quiz?

The top candidate for presidency I identified with was Al Sharpton lololol. The match was only 50%, so I don't relaly think that is very accurate. Basically the top 15 Democratic potential candidates were within 10% of each other related to my views, so that probably isn't very accurate.

"Your political philosophy is
Hard-Core Libertarian"

Best match: 38%. I question it being that high. :P

Looking through some of their ratings for Congressmen, it's absurd. They rated Ron Paul as opposing gun ownership because he votes No on absurd House bills.

I've long held the opinion that a politician should never be judged on any "No" votes they make. These bills are so full of riders and pork that they could be voting AGAINST any one portion of the bill. Conversely, if you vote "Yes" on a bill or introduce legislature you are giving your stamp of approval on EVERYTHING in that bill to become law. So that is a much better way of judging their record. As a side benefit if everybody started thinking that way then politicians might actually start voting NO more often to the crap laid in front of them.
