Re: Taco Bell

ty sir. I agree with the ranchero chicken soft taco, BUT I do not like the potato borrito nor the double decker

I'm thinking that a quesadilla is a bad value though

HHmmm......yeah quesadilla is often viewed as bad value for it's ability to taste good but not satisfy hunger within the time taken to eat said item. Instead, substitute both double decker and beef and potato with the chicken crunchwrap supreme. Around here they go for ~$2.50, leaving you enough room for the ranchero soft. Crunchwrap is known as a fillup item.

Hope this helps.

I read this post and realized that I could be ringing the bell instead of reading these stupid forums. thx for the insight

Edit: I'm also a big fan of the crunchwrap

Re: Taco Bell

The double decker supreme is the best taco bell item by a pretty wide margin.

Re: Taco Bell

only $4.55 for budget bdams. You need at least 2 items for the bell or else you go to hell. Or at least that's what I heard.

Re: Taco Bell

okay, whatever you do, don't waste money on a drink. have you tried the cheesy bean and rice burrito? 99cents. Also I love the potato bowl, but it's not very big.

and double decker supreme is great.

Re: Taco Bell

You can't find a taco bell in the city of chicago. I think there's like 2.

And it's always been my peeve, the whole 'it's not REEEAAAL mexican food!' Like, get the [censored] over yourselves, it's a [censored] tortilla and some meat and some cheese and some salsa, there's really not that wide of a spectrum we're dealing with here. Some of it is slightly better than taco bell and some slightly worse. And all the [censored] 'real' mexican joints around my spot are definitely [censored] up the tortilla+meat thing as much as it's physically possible.

Cliff notes: I want some taco bell.

LoL, if I lived in a city with only 2 taco bells I would......no longer live in that city.

FYP but good job overall with the selection, although this will come in about $.30 too much if I remember the prices accurately.

Also, the best value items are crispy tacos, tostadas, and bean burritos.

Re: Taco Bell

Taco Bell is the best, I think I am getting some tonight.

Also TIEDUP, it would be useful to know where you lived. Depending on where you are, taco bell is more or less expensive, especially with the value menu. All the ones in malls/airports are Taco Bell Express and they are more expensive. However, other ones int he suburbs (and a few in the city) have the value menu and you can do a lot more with your money. My strategy is usually to go for the Grilled Stuffed Burrito (proper noun) at the taco bell expresses because they are the best value there. At a regular taco bell, you can mix and match and still spend less than $5 for a huge meal.

Re: Taco Bell

My staple Bell run is 2 Double Deckers and one Beef Combo Burrito (I prefer it over the Beef Potato but I am in the minority on that).

$4.59 tax included, considering I'm in CA I think you could pull it off OP.
