The Sarah Silverman Program

If anyone is still not watching this, you need to. I think it's still a bit rough, some of the characters are not really funny, but it's shaping up to be the best show on TV.

Also, something about her lips is super hot.

I don't find her funny at all, but she is hot.

She's alright. In the show she makes herself out to be real slutty, which is a plus.

i have not liked the show at all. she is very funny in standup but the show is pretty awful.

I haven't caught the show yet. No matter how bad it could be it will never effect how much I want to hump her.

Sarah is also a great athlete: "She's kind of like--what's her name?--Babe Didrikson," longtime buddy Colin Quinn told "GQ" magazine. "She can throw a softball half a mile; she can hit a twenty-foot jumper; she's got a punch like a Guatemalan welterweight." She plays football on Doheny late at night and has an open invitation to Garry Shandling's pickup basketball game, where she's the only woman on the court. ("Well," Shandling told GQ, "she and David Duchovny.")

I love the giant creepy guy. I only saw a little of one episode, but I find it hard to believe anything with him in it could be unfunny.

Re: The Sarah Silverman Program

Watched a couple episodes for the first time tonight. Athough I found myself chuckling some, I would say the humor is off the beaten path and definitely not for everyone. It is not like anything else on TV and if Silverman's odd humor in this show appeals to you, probably worth a viewing. However in my view if queefing is going to be the centerpiece of your half hour show, as in one of the episodes I saw, your writing better be pretty damn good. This particular episode and the other I saw tried hard but didn't quite pull it off.

I was on record as enjoying the first episode, though it didn't meet my lofty expectations. I retract that original evaluation. I keep watching, and I really want to like it, but it's just not doing it for me.

It's just... weird. In the episode and a half I watched there were a couple hilarious scenes, but much of it was just too far out there.

I like every character in the show but her. In fact whenever she isn't on the screen I think the show is pretty funny, and while on the screen I hate it. This is also unusual because I think she is very attractive and like her standup.

I felt the same way.
I think once the shock value has worn off, there's not much left to the show. Poop and queef(sp?) jokes can only go so far.

I agree that if you like the humor in the show then it would be an okay idea to watch it.

Regarding Silverman's looks - Definitely pretty, no doubt. But still kind of surprised by how many people here seem super-attracted to her though.

Part of it, for me at least, is the fact that she's 36 and looks like she could be 22. Hotter than if she actually was 22, imo.

The show is something two of my drugged out friends would make, and I would say "wow that is [censored] out there. You guys were obviously on tons of drugs when you made this. Its so unique and awesome" Not knowing Sarah Siliverman personally (although i am jewish), the show sucked.

Re: The Sarah Silverman Program

Like I said, it's still rough, and if you don't like strange/wacky humor you won't like it. I think the style of comedy is very refreshing, sort of self-mocking as well as mocking the audience; there's nothing like it on TV. I just hope that it lasts for a couple of years because I suspect year 3 will be awesome.

I think this show is great, but her character is so ridiculously over-the-top that most people won't like it.

nurse: How many times have you had unprotected sex?
Sarah: Um, well..... writes down something on a piece of paper
nurse: There are two numbers here
Sarah: Oh, that's for the front
nurse: But they're the same number.
Sarah: I know. I'm kinda OCD like that.

Had to switch off her standup last night. Not funny. Watched her show after that last night. Funny. I am however, easily amused but bore equally as easily.

Hottest woman on tv? Blech.
