The Fundamental Theorem of Ballinnnnnnn
I do not take credit for the idea. Alphatmw made this post, and the idea of the theorem was initiated:
figure out what you can buy from stealing the blinds. that'll determine your balla status. you: 3 mcdonalds apple pies patrik antonius: ps3 you see? ------------- I now present the fundamental theorem of ballin: To determine the level of ballerness, calculate the amount of money won by stealing the blinds, and determine the most "baller" item that can be purchased. -------------- So, this thread is to determine if YOU are a baller. Add up the amount you win from stealing the blinds, and let's see the most ballin thing you can come up with for that money. Obviously link to the item for verification purposes. |

limit should be divided by 6,
3/6LHE = $9 but the equivilant .50/1NL = $1.5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] edit: since NL is infinatly more balla than limit, NL should get MULTIPLIED by 6. |

this theory is obviously flawed since it suggest minbet players are more baller than nl players [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. Someone who plays 2/4 NL is very close to ballerdom, but it would not be reflected by the 3 piece chicken selects value meal that stealing the blinds would afford them. |

Re: The Fundamental Theorem of Ballinnnnnnn
Fundamental Theorum of Ballin, NL version:
Add the amount you make stealing the blinds, then square that number. This will put it closer to lolmit for equivalent levels. Example: 2/4 lolmit = .5/1 NL 2/4 FTOB gives you $3 .5/1 FTOB NL gives you $2.25 5/10 FTOB gives you $7 or $8 1/2 FTOB NL gives you $9 20/40 FTOB gives you $30 3/6 FTOB NL gives you $81 AND SO FORTH OBV this doesn't work for NL where the blinds < $1, but those limits aren't baller anyway, so who cares, amirite? Also 25/50 NL comes out to $5,625, SO BALLER |

nl baller formula should be 1/4 a buyin
.5/1= $25 1/2=$50 2/4=$100 3/6=$150 5/10=$250 10/20=$500, etc |
