spreadsheet v2.8a, ready for 2007

http://sngicons.com/sng_spreadsheet.rar
(about 1.2 MB)

If you like using awkward spreadsheets instead of nice, slick Tourney Manager, I have tricked out the 2+2 SNG spreadsheet for 2007. Thanks to z32fanatic and bigj0e03 for hosting it at sngicons. Have fun kids. Post questions, comments, and bugs in this thread and I'll attempt to address them.

In other, better news, I also have a much more compact companion spreadsheet for Tourney Manager to do graphs, extra stuff, and bankroll tracking. It should be up any time now. Anyone who has to have it now can PM me an email address and I'll send you a copy.

If you do that, make sure not to forget a "pineapple parameter" for accelerated variance

Poker Tracker is not necessary. You need Microsoft Excel. Open Office, which is free, might work. I've never used it though.

The spreadsheet tracks tournament results. At a minimum, enter the buy-in/payout information, the date, and the place of finish. Most of the stats will be able to compile with just that information.

Check out the Readme sheet for more info on use.

Try the main software page. I don't know how they're doing it but I can't always get there linking directly.

companion link works - the other spreadsheet isn't (says 'busy'). you can ship it to me as well slim if you want it hosted somewhere else.

I just tried to download both and they worked from the main software page. Is anyone else having problems with it right now or is it an on/off thing?

I'm still getting "The page is currently unavailable Due to current high demand, the page you are looking for cannot be delivered right now." on the second link...

Re: spreadsheet v2.8a, ready for 2007

I think I sent out one version where I forgot to change to x-axis to 2007. Double-click on the axis and make sure the date range is set for 2007 if nothing is showing up on the graph. Also, the TM companion sheet is about eleventy billion times easier to deal with than the full-sized old spreadsheet.

Slim Pickens 05-28-2007 08:18 PM

Re: spreadsheet v2.8a, ready for 2007

There is something not quite right with the auto-import function. I don't really care to fix it but the workaround is this:

If everything seems to be set up correctly in SNG1 but it still says "blah blah blah no corresponding sheet," set up a different sheet (probably SNG2) with the buy-in and vig and try again. Somehow, SNG1 and SNG2 got switched.

Also, buy Tourney Manager and stop using this. By the time you have enough tournaments to need an auto-import, you're well equipped to buy TM.
