Quick checkup - postflop action
These are all from today, most come from HU or 3-handed sessions though. The K7hh hand where I cap the turn and get checkraised on the river is from a full game and is the only hand I remember against a reasonable (29/25/3) but very aggressive opponent. The 9h7h flush was vs a 76/42/3 guy.

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
i looked at first three and they looked good to me

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
too many hands imo

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
Looks pretty good to me, I would've led out the 2nd hand on the turn just in case it gets checked through or I get to 3 bet.
|
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
all looks pretty standard.
|
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
I can't find anything unreasonable either. Running bad?

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
#1 i play it the same
#2 i bet turn and take it from there #3 i like a lead on river #4 i dont cap turn #5 i play it the same #6 i dont cap river #7 i dont cap river |
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
Without reads my thoughts are:
Hand 3 - I would b/c the river. I don't like putting more than 2 bets in here. Hand 4 - I'm calling down from the turn 3bet Hand 6 - I'm not capping the river Others look good |
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
I think checking the river in hand 3 is better than betting. Whether or not to raise is the point of debate for me. There are 8 nut flush combos... I'm not going to count the other combos of lesser flushes that he would raise OTB 3-handed, but there probably aren't enough to go for the check raise (win 2, lose 3). Bet/calling after the turn cap wins 1 and loses 2, since I highly doubt he raises you again with the third nuts or less.

I think it's close because he might raise T8dd or J8dd or AdAx, but I think I should play it a bit more cautiously. Rob |
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
hand 1: i cf the flop and play the river the same.
hand 2: i really want to raise the river vs this dude. hand 3: depends on the player. i like it vs a retard but would just call the river vs a good player. hand 4: usually play the same. sometimes i get scared and just call down after 3bet esp if player is decent. hand 5: again i cap vs retards and just call vs a good player. hand 6: same as last 3. hand 7: shockingly, like the others, i put the extra bet in vs retards but not smart players. |

"Hand 3 - I would b/c the river. I don't like putting more than 2 bets in here."
b/c loses 2 and wins one. cr/c lose 3 and wins 2. |
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
I like them all v much, only thing I would do different is probably b/c hand 3 instead of c/r.

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
hand 2: i think i'd bet the turn, hoping to 3bet, since villain's flop check, given his stats, may well indicate a set or tptk, etc. also given his stats, id cap the riv.
hope you won all, or at least most of these- that's a lot of red flushes, and a lot of big betz! |

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
I'd call the 3-bet on the river in the last hand besides that every looks fine.

Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
hand 2, im raising that river
hand 3, im capping the river hand 4, 3-betting the flop, the way u played it, i think this looks about right, his river play is soooo gay tho. |

hand 3, im capping the river [/ QUOTE ] I think you lose 75% of that last bet, minimum. [ QUOTE ] hand 4, 3-betting the flop, the way u played it, i think this looks about right, his river play is soooo gay tho. [/ QUOTE ] Why is his river play bad? If you say his play is bad, what about Entity's play in the 3rd hand? |
Re: Quick checkup - postflop action
All look fine. Any discussion is marginal IMHO.
