Just an okay episode. It says a lot about the show though, that they can do only a few jokes and still pull off a good show. The intro scene was pretty awesome.

Kevin is terrible though. He needs to be off The Office.

I completely agree that Kevin rocks. I'd say 1/3rd of the stuff he says is retarded, 1/3 is kind of funny but 1/3 it just glorious and clever.

These episodes are nowhere near the quality of season 2, which might be my favorite season of any television show ever.

Tonight was just overly awkward and not that funny.

I do agree that the awkwardness of this season has gone through the roof. However, I disagree that this season is nowhere near the quality... it isn't quite as good, but still fantastic.

The dynamic between Jim and Pam is a crucial part of the show. I really think it is the aspect that puts it into the pantheon of great sitcoms.

Obviously it is not over, it will never be over. I doubt we'll see anything REAL between them for at least another season... although one can assume there will be a lot of hints and tension.

Just last week (maybe it was two weeks ago?) there was a metaphor for Jim wanting to move on and forget the past (the joke on Michael representing his love for Pam), and the end of the episode he decides that the past (the joke, Pam) is what would really make him happy.

We see Roy almost exclusively with Pam. In seasons 1 and 2, they were in a long, go nowhere fast relationship. They're comfortable and obviously not madly in love (long engagement, no wedding date). He acts more like a douche when he's afraid of loosing her in season 2.

Now, he's trying to win her back, so he is a much nicer character.

IMHO, Roy has shown characteristics of someone in those stages of a relationship very well.

I agree... I never thought I'd say this, but I'm kinda rooting for Roy now that he seems to be a changed man. I honestly don't know if I want to see Pam and Jim together.
