Checked in around 6, down 1300 in 15 minutes, $500 at craps, and 800 at blackjack. Was down to $50 chips, beat dealer, press, $100 WIN!, $200!, Should I press again!? Dealer says GO GO GO GOG OG.

I go, get dealt 11 vs 9. Reach into pocket and am now back up in my room to go into the safe.

After playing with bugstud, joshthief and a drunken nlsoldier sweating, I had battled back to $1500 up, until the blackjack [censored] of atlantis, (more on this later) came and said hello to me, bang, tons of losses, went to down a few hundy, when internet poker celebrity tongni said, "you have $600 left, whats the difference, go all in" being a lemming, I put the 600 dowwn, bang 11 vs 5, double, 7, dealer pulls 21. I go to atm, go on blackjack tilt, Josh loans me 500, lose that, down $4800 at blackjack table. Decide to go play craps with josh, get credit card advance, win $50 bucks, decide that this sucks, run into blackjack [censored] of atlantis again who grabs my arm and says "lets play!", Josh comes with, I sit down next to blackjack [censored], and think maybe the night can be salvaged by hooking up with 18 yr old chick, I run to bathroom, and then some dude takes my spot, (huge beat--I believe right now she is blowing him for a blackbird double down) anyhoo, run a little hot, have a sick $400 88 where I split, double on 11 and dealer miraculously busts his 4 with a 22. +1800, to leave me only down $3000 tonight. I also bought a piece of picky tooth in a satelite, so I could have an extra 800 down, but chances are I lost that too, so we'll add that up:

$3100 + mondays $2100

-$5100.

Day 3
 

After my poor showing in mainevent.I crashed for a bit, and went down to play some black jack. Won a 1k and then went to craps table to be joined by BK, Josh and JayRockets. We got yelled at a lot by craps dealers, a lot. We all went pretty much bust, but I pulled back a bit to booka 200 win. ( i was up 1k before the crew showed up) nothing really interesting besides the talk of BK offering anal for entry into tomorrows $300.

P.s. no sign of blackjack ho

chipped up. ended up even for trip. at approximately 5 oclock. got dinner wih bugstud and blindingbeam, then wen on sick, 13k downswing.

We are now stuck 13k for trip. Josh/bugstud/nlsoldier/bb all were there, it was sick bad. I hate life, gambling, poker, bahamians, jamacians, rum, whiskey and probably you.

First card off is a 3, pulls out a wad of hundos, doubles, gets a 9. we're all cheering at this point and doing the J E T S JETS chant. next card? an 8. More hundos, more splitting. both get tens. dealer rolls a duece and the crowd immediately is very upset, only to be consoled by a 6ball. Dealer has 16 and everyone can feel matty getting a nice $2400 rebound. Oops, dealer rolls a 3 for 19.

I just made a huge mistake to lose, I played perfectly was 5/26, finished in 26th.

(Technical poker explanation: Wow. I cant hate myself anymore. I didn't see that Issaac had opened. I just lost a small pot, got dealt qjs. I wanted to fold, because my overanalytical mind is like "they will think im tilting"... so I open (I just threw chips out there) which I thought was an open, so it happened I called utg's raise (the chipleader) I still have no idea he is in hand, Im seat 2 and cant see him. I get what I think is two callers. And I bet flope, "dealer: you need 1k more to call" "oh [censored], didnt know he was in hand". (flop was 247 two of my suit) turn is my queen. I [censored] up for the third time by not checking the turn, bet 300k, think he is making a move, and realize if hes not I have outs, instacall. he flopped a set. I bust out at 26th and am so pissed because I would have just mucked qjs if I knew he had opened utg. I can't express how dumb I feel. I h ad 1m in chips. )

sorry dude, you're a good poster and I was very entertained by this thread while stewing about choking in a much smaller tournament.

What happened sucks, obviously, not sure what else to say except that everyone's made this kind of mistake, it's not horrible or dumb, you were just unlucky to have it happen at a bad time and to catch the wrong flop/turn for the situation.

Congrats on finishing as high as you did.

Thanks man, Im still beating myself up about it, and its probably really annoying to anyone listening, reading the action today I could have folded to top 10. I played the 1500 today and couldn't bare to watch the action across the room, so donked off my chips in short order. Then donked off another 1500 at blackjack.

After my 5% swap, I think I am hopeful to leave here even.
