No.

Try Target EARLY Sunday morning as various stores have said they are receiving a shipment in. It won't be until after X-Mas that you can waltz in any old time and pick one up.

most of the stores will have them tomorrow morning, but you'll have to get there maybe 4ish hours before they open to get one

got to target around 7:20 this morning. they had 51 wiis. my friend and i got tickets number 49 and 50. so should still be hard to get for awhile.

I got there at 6AM and got number 30. There was 72 units available but the line got over 100 long.

I am loving it so far just playing Wii Sports, especially bowling.

did they advertise that they were having them today (Sunday)? where do they advertise it - online? i would easily wait 40 minutes.i wonder when the next shipment comes in.

Sundays are always a good bet. I also hear some stores have new shipments out on Wednesdays, but I can't confirm that.

My sister's gotten all buddy/buddy with the Wal*Mart shipping manager as she's been trying to get information about Elmos and game systems for a while. He told her that his store will have over 30 for sale this Wednesday starting at 6am.

The past two weekends, I've been at my local Toys R Us and they've had multiple units sitting on the shelves. No PS3s, though. Sucks for me as I already have the former but not the latter.

FWIW:

Just did some research for a friend and apparently a lot of stores in Southern Mass and RI are putting out their stock Wednesday morning, but still in limited qualities, I know of a Walmart near here that has 8, some only have like 3.

Those are just empty boxes on display. They actually dont have any available. I've seen this in all TRUs I've been to.

Anyone have any experience with getting them at Walmart? I've got one about four blocks away and may leg it over there at the end of my night. I'd appreciate a good idea on when a good time to show up might be. Somehow I'm thinking they won't have a civilized ticketing system.

I called 2. One is getting 20, one is getting 9. The one with 20 said people had rainchecks, so only 4 would be for sale. The one with 9 already has people in line (11PM) for the 8AM sale.

Just got mine for my son today at Walmart. Got their at 5.30 and they were selling by 8.00. Only 3 were sold so I was very lucky.

They said they are calling the 30 with rainchecks today. They have till 9.00 PM to pick them up or the rest of the units will go on sale at that time. This is the super Walmart in Santa Clarita.

I tried today too. I live in college town and figured people would probably be camping out. I work in a smaller town that has a Wal-mart. I stopped in at 7:00. They only had 9 for sale, and there were 9 people in line. They all looked like parents, so if they get any more shipments I'll try going much earlier and hopefully get lucky.

Doing some quick research, it seems like a lot of places aren't planning on putting any Wiis on the shelves tomorrow. They say that, since they don't have any extra nunchucks, or other accessories, they're waiting until the 17th. That doesn't make any sense to me, but my girlfriend spent part of this morning looking at stuff on the web and that's what a lot of message boards are saying.

On a different note, does anyone else have zero luck calling stores to ask about Wiis for tomorrow? The closest EBGames won't even admit to getting a shipment in tomorrow; they're not saying they don't know, they flat-out deny any coming. The people at Target are either idiots or they also don't know whether they're getting any tomorrow.

EB and GameStop don't get weekend shipments. They get everything mid-week, usually Tuesday-Thursday.

The Toys R Us in Buckhead appeared to have them in stock when I was there today, but it may have been deceptive since they use empty boxes on the floor.

I've been perusing ebay periodically. It looks like the price, while it went down after Black Friday, has been going up lately. I'd expect future restockings to get sold out quickly, likely with a line.

no, u'd have to ask at TRU, as they put empty boxes out; it's pretty much a guarantee that they didn't have any out, as they hold theirs for Sunday and sell out before they open

Well looks like im just gunna wait until Smash Bros. comes out. Theres nothing i really want to play now anyways outside of Wii Sports and Wii Play.

the biggest farce is that even if you do get your hands on a wii you'll have a hell of a time getting your hands on any extra controllers, and playing alone kind of defeats the purpose (nobody to hit in the head when your controller flies out of your hand)
