To block his free card play with UI overcards, while establishing a clear message that you will not allow your blind to be stolen from UTG.

it's also the guy who butchered that KJs hand and is a GREAT live pro, but perhaps not so much online.

Re: im too smart for you

Because should you have an A, you'd rather donk the turn and get 2BBs out of him, rather than c/r and him fold or have him check behind his mid pair.

Also, in a thread months ago someone remarked "turn donks induce folds, turn c/r's induce call downs."

ehh? so because hero should have an Ace he's gonna get two bbs out of villain w/ only a pair of fives. what do you think villain is calling down with that makes hero's play profitable?

Re: im too smart for you

what i was thinking:

these guys (you guys actually in some cases) dont 3 bet that flop with an overpair, you wait until the turn. but you do 3 bet with overs to take the free turn should you want one. so when this guy 3 balled the flop it was actually a sign of weakness. thus the turn donk when a safe card falls.

why not 4 bet the flop? im waiting for said safe card to fall. (this part may not be correct though...).

Mike, I usually 4-bet and lead. They usually fold. That's usually what I want to happen.

Agreed. Also, I´d rather my opponents think I´m overaggro and like to give lots of action instead of tricky and good. But I´d 4bet anyway even without that.

All that is of course assuming I somehow got into this pot with 65o.

What do you do when they raise the turn when a Q pops? ("Who is they?" is the question everyone should ask themselves after taking the same or similar line as the one posted by Dave, IMO) A? A, bet-automuck? K? (same as Q, really.)
