NJ had a tough loss tonight, up 2-0 after 2 and then 3 goals in 1:30 in the 3rd. Yuck.

As for year to date record, I will calculate that later today. Units won/lost will not be too informative as I just started and was betting $1 on games last week and now am betting $10 or $20 on games.

For the Ott bet, 1st time I am trying a 1st period bet but 2 factors for this bet: 1. The shorter the time frame picked, the more luck comes into play which is what you want for the worse team. 2. Ott has been ahead a decent amount this year only to blow the game in the 3rd period.

The Phi bet has nothing to do with Phi and their lack of skill, I just think they are not 3-1 dogs vs the Ducks.

Do you have a record of all your bets? If you've made $5 with $1 bets, lost $10 with $5 bets and made $30 with $10 bets, you could say you're up 6u.

Alright, my units have been all over the place so far but from now on for the purpose of making it simple.

My 1 unit will be $10. And starting today, I will keep track of units won/lost.

Up until now I have basically been dead even in hockey betting.

Today's plays:

2 u on Koivu to get 1 point or more vs FLA tonight -144
1 u PHI over LA OT incl +148


Thoughts: Koivu has had a great career vs FLA, he is on a 6 or 7 game point streak now, MTL is playing good hockey and FLA goaltending and defense suck.

I think PHI is riding some confidence after the win and with Knuble and Froppa back combined with LA's [censored] goalies, they have a decent chance to light them up.

Thoughts: Columbus almost beat Nsh but they really, really suck.

Dal vs Atl is a toss up, 2 good teams but if Turco plays well he can shut Atl down I think.

Det in Cal. Det is hottest team in NHL enough said. Even though Cal is playing decently...

This might just be my opinion (I don't think reasonable people would disagree with me, though), but there's no requirement that you post and take into account every bet you make, especially if it's a misclick.

1. Buf is a much better team than Ott and they have some injuries but they did just get Maxim back and he was good for 1st star last night. Buf is just a great team.

2. No way Tor is fav over NJ even at home. Give me a break.

3. Let's ride the PHI train one more time. They are hot and not 3-1 dogs vs powerhouse SJ no matter how bad they have done this year.
