****OFFICIAL LOW CONTENT THREAD v.2****

Time for a new thread after a couple months. The other one got a bit long. Welcome to all the new posters and lets keep the content/noise ratio in regular threads high! I still see a couple threads a day that really should be in here IMO but do what you do.

Winrates
Goals
Best players/how others are doing
Personal stats
Coaching requests
Any hands you want to share that you aren't really looking for strat advice on
Other general discussion that doesn't require its own thread
Introductions, etc.

Are there any PLO coaches who advertise on the site or 3-bet.net or elsewhere? I haven't seen any (though admittedly I haven't really been looking). Who is good?

It would be interesting to find out what range of players post and lurk here. It seems a lot of higher limit players are active, but I wonder (bet) there is a nice range of all levels.

If you play in pounds or euros, just convert.

Re: ****OFFICIAL LOW CONTENT THREAD v.2****

Biggest pot won live was a HE hand @ £2/2.

A5s from LP, a few limpers, I raise. 3 callers, flop comes 453. I lead out again and am reraised by a LAG behind me. I call, turn is an ace. I lead out, he raises, I push all-in. He calls. River is another ace, he doesn't show. Pot = £900

Biggest PLO pot was a bluff, and one of my best. AQ99ds from EP, raise it up, 4 callers, flop is 942 rainbow. Lead out, 2 callers. Turn is a 3. I check-call a PSB from a very strong, reasonably tight player on my left who I haven't really tangled with. Turn is a 6, I lead out for the pot, £450, and he folds showing A56.

Biggest live loss: tried a 3-bet bluff on the flop for like £320 with ace high against a guy who flopped a set (HE).

Thanks.

Re: ****OFFICIAL LOW CONTENT THREAD v.2****

Yes and no.

FT is more 6 max oriented. The more aggressive you are the more successful you'll be at FT. The more nitty you are the more successful you'll be at PokerStars. (stakes .5/1, 1/2, and 2/4)

ITILTEZ 11-09-2006 05:53 PM

Re: ****OFFICIAL LOW CONTENT THREAD v.2****

Exactly, if pokerstars added 6 max it would become much more popular(hint!)

In the hand I posted, I somehow got the players mixed up. The PFR "IDreamofJenna" folded the flop. The flop/turn bettor was "djcmic" and the turn raiser was "ethanhunteg." My FTP name is the same as this, so you'd have known if it was me.

To the poster asking about FTP: I play mostly on FTP because I can get cash rakeback. If I could get that at Stars, I'd play predominantly at Stars. I don't care one way or the other if I play 9/10 handed PLO or 6max; 6 max is just what happens to run at FTP.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm pretty sure this is impossible because you'd have to make it impossible for 4 of a kind to show on the board. In order to do this, at least 1 card of each rank must be in the other three hands. That's 12 cards and leaves the aces live.
