We all live in our own little poker worlds, and given recent events that ought to be enough to make anyone seriously consider voting Democrat down the line. PLEASE VOTE, and here's a little reminder that there's more at stake then poker legality.

Here here - although living in GA it is kind of an exercise in futility for me. This is especially true if you live in Virginia, Montana, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Maryland....

good call on the reminder. I dont think I can vote Democrat down the line as that would be a very tough call. Being in the Marine Corps definitely affects how I view things. VOTE VOTE VOTE, regardless of your views, VOTE VOTE VOTE. It is a right and a responsibilty we all have.

I'm not so sure about that. The Agnostic believe in a higher power, just not sure which one. Is it Jesus, Buddha, Buddy Christ, Alla, Multiple Gods like Zeus? Or do you want to go with Shinto, Tao (not sure who either believe in, think multiples)? Which is their generally thought option. I used to consider myself Agnostic, obviously not any longer but I generally thought there wasnt a higher power but reserved the right to be wrong. Agnostic is generally a much more socially acceptable stance to take too because it doesnt sound as harsh as Aethist.

It's cool to see Rummy out and everything, but I wouldn't be too excited about Gates coming in. Closer ties between the CIA and the DoD are not good news for the USA.

Dont be too sure about that. Special Forces operate together in many of the things that you never hear about on TV. Example, MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command) happens to deal in things not relating to Iraq/Afghanistan, but other hot spots in the world. They share intel with FBI, CIA, and our own Marine intel units. Country briefs, terrorist activity, and more.
