Unsure with the river play in this hand, maybe a criticism of the turn c/r as well.

Oh and I would check hoping he'll check it down thinking your going to c/r him again. This is a tricky spot and I'm not sure how I would react to a psb. I think I would c/f here.

Re: River move

all in? also i would lead turn

Re: River move

and what is he callin an all in bet with that i beat? i cant think of any. I think an all in bet would be just a bluff to get a 2 pair hand to fold out.

Re: River move

your turn c/r sux. on principle and size.

my line would look something like c/c turn.

lead river for 2/3 pot.

Re: River move

why am i c/c the turn and betting the river when the river looks a lot worse than the turn, if anything shouldnt those 2 streets be reversed, lead the turn c/c or possibly c/f the river.

I like this line a lot better than what was played.

Re: River move

is the 2/3 sized pot bet on the river a value bet here? what purpose is this bet. For me to do that dont we need to put villain on AJ, AQ and only those 2, can we do that.

Re: River move

What was your thinking behind the turn c/r? Do you think villain will call off his stack with top pair? Is this a hand you want to felt against him?

Re: River move

imo, the turn raise is pretty bad. as played, is betting 15 on this river okay? i think if he raises its a fold, but i think if you bet 15 he will call with worse hands. a c/f to anything more than 1/2 pot is fine.

Re: River move

my thinking on the turn is that i could better define his hand by seeing what he does on a c/r. At that point im really not looking to go to the felt. But i feel he could raise wiht aq kq maybe even aj on the turn and leave me in a tough spot, if i c/r and than he comes over the top i feel i can safely fold.
