canterbury 30/60. BB is kevin j. UTG is some loose idiot I forget who. MP is some weird tilty old man who sucks.

UTG limps, MP raises, I call next with 5h5x. BB 3-bets, UTG calls, MP 4-bets, I call, BB caps we call.

Flop Jh 8h 7c. BB checks! Everyone checks.

Turh Qh. BB bets. UTG folds. MP folds. Now what?

I did all this EV stuff and then scrapped it because I made a lot of assumptions... but I think you only need to be drawing live about 40% of the time for peeling to be +EV even if we factor in not getting paid off the times we hit and are good and paying off the times we hit and are no good.

flop was 76 not 87 now that I think about it

Re: whee

All you can do is call. I don't know Kevin J, but against an agro, the river should probably be a call too unless a T, A, or K come.

Re: whee

betting flop would be very bad imo.

id call the turn and call the river against kevin j but thats probably only because ive seen him coldcap 45s preflop before and know hes capable of stuff like that.

Re: whee

probably you have the best hand or the best draw most of the time. dont think id raise for free sd. I guess the question is do you bet the river if a heart comes and he checks. will he know that you can't have the nut flush because you cold called preflop?

Re: whee

fold preflop. call as played. can't fold if you could be live. is anything accomplished by raising? overcard/gutshot/better fd air isn't folding in a 13 bet pot, complete air like the 54s mentioned is drawing very slim.

Re: whee

I don't know Kevin but calling and folding non-heart river seems right. The fun part is if he checks the river. I'd bet a lot of cards but I'm not sure about a heart.

Re: whee

I think there is a much less chance you have the best hand than people are projecting here. If it did come J76 And he did decide to check with AK on the flop and a queen comes that is the card in the deck that if nobody hit the flop, they for sure have something now there goona call with.

I'm sure he would bet with exactly the AhKx but other than that I cant see him betting anything here that you beat. I have never seen Kevin get out of line either in prolly about 30 hours of play in the last 4 years.
