ABA20 High Stakes

Just reading cardplayer. Wondering how it went. Seems he did well from what I can gather

The last new face on the amateur team is 25-year-old Brian Townsend, an online player better known as SBRugby or ABA20. Townsend is a regular at the 25-50 to 200-400 no-limit hold’em tables, but also enjoys an occasional game of 100-200 or 300-600 limit hold’em. This virtual poker pro has made a comfortable living over the years and recently applied his online experience to the $10,000 Harrah’s New Orleans championship event, placing 10th. “This has been a great experience,” said Townsend about his day on the set of High Stakes Poker. “I’m really happy with how things went.”

Whoever wrote this article is a moron.

How can Aba be a 200-400 NL HE regular online, but be an amateur?

Yeah Gold is a professional, Aba is a amateur. Cardplayer sucks.

When defining an Amature I think they mean by TV or Fame standards. Clearly the other 400-800 NY kid is a baller as well.

I hadn't realized Gold was sitting in this game. That strikes me as one of the worst decisions ever made in the history of making decisions.

Except they rigged the table so that all the great players were together, and the donks got a much easier game.

Why are you worried about bandwidth? It's negligible. Be more worried about the quality of the conversation.

Re: ABA20 High Stakes

If Aba lost, lets say, if he went and played .10/.10 NLHE for 15 minutes that would be an easy way to tell but not tell.

If he won he could go play $25/$50 NLHE and buy in for 11111.

BTW, Did anyone else get the new decoder ring from their Frankenberry cereal?

Obviously in an interview he will say things went well if he broke even or won slightly. If he lost he would likely say it was fun but things didnt go as planned I asume. But I wanna know some numbers

More hands, more winnings. Farha plays slow and tries to get all the others slow down too so he wouldn't lose so much. (If you meant that by playing fast. If not, the opposite of slow playing?)

Well, I'm result oriented, so what was the end result?
