i thought you had to use both the hole cards to make quads (pocket pair) but I could be wrong, never paid much attention to bad beat jack pot tables since id never hit one.

I think it should include all 5 and if the 2 in your hand play, it should count. But I think I should not have had a finger in my butt at lunch but it still happened.

A couple casino's in NY that i have played at just say you have to use both of your Hole Cards.

So, on that board, A9 is using both of your hole cards to make a 5 card hand (Hold'em is based off of a 5 card hand).

If he had 49, he would not qualify, but with A9 he would.
