The Tigers were the better team over the course of the season. If their young guns can't pitch anymore due to fatigue (likely not the case) they're screwed. Otherwise, they're a pretty signifigant favorite over an overachieving A's team.

lol your comments throughout the playoffs are laughable. especially the ones where you said the mets would be favs over the tigers or a's. both teams are significant favorites over any NL team.

Tigers in 6 and i have to hate for the A's. I didn't like the Mark Mcguire era, but the Billy Beane teams has been fun to watch.

OK I'm officially stoked. Going to the game tonight. I'll be looking like a pimp in my Barry Zito tie. This will be my first playoff game since the infamous Derek Jeter flip to tag out a non-sliding J. Giambi.

I'm trying to come up with things to hate about the Tigers. There aren't many. But one thing is that their manager appears to like kissing little boys. Another is that their entire pitching staff will be playing for the yankees within 5 years. And yes that includes Kenny Rogers.

Tigs in 6. Pitching is wonderful, they are batting well, and overall have a better, more well-rounded team. I don't think the A's are "crap" by any means, but I think Detroit can pull this one out if they play as well as they did last series, or even anywhere close to that.
