me? mind you if i wouldnt consider raising against an opponent with a big stack but if he has two pair or something half decent he is basically pot committed to call with all his chips.

he could have T7s here also people. i think a lot of non-draw type hands u beat raise u on the flop or at least the turn... kind of a weird line w/ 98 or JT

Doesn't make sense that now villan all of a sudden comes alive with two pair, unless he is putting you on solely AA/KK I don't see the value in raising.

sorry grim i am a newbie and still dont know how to do that. Anyhow as most of you guessed, the guy did indeed have JT OFF F"ING SUIT. No clubs no nothing. When he bet out, my instinct told me that he had it, and i even wrote "interesting" in the chat box. However as all of you said if he is blocking, i would look like a big idiot flat calling with top set. THus i min raised as grimstarr suggested he pushed for an extra 1k and i was forced to call.

The question i would like to pose now, if i were up against a bigger stack, you all agree that the optimal play would be to raise to around 3k and then fold to a push?
