Baltimore 2+2 homegame, anyone?
 

Georgia Avenue and I have been tossing around the idea of getting together a B-more 2+2er donkfest and I'm gonna start this thread as sort of an interest list. We don't have any details nailed down yet as to time or place, but basically, if you're in the Baltimore area (or DC if you feel like making the drive) and interested in getting together for some low-limit badugi/triple draw/minbet holdem action, sign up here and we'll try to get something together.

I'm sending out PMs to posters who I know live in the area, but if you live around here and happen to stumble upon this thread, by all means let me know if you're interested.

I'm interested; I'm temporarily in Salisbury staying with my mom, should be back in Baltimore by next Friday-ish (13th). So apart from some time when I'll be recovering from surgery, I'll be around and interested after that. I live in Mt. Vernon right now and we can PROBABLY use my place, but it's not really ideal in terms of having a lot of seating/tables.

whoa, where do you live in Mt. Vernon? I lived at Eager & St. Paul until I moved to Hampden like 2 months ago. I'm in the same boat as far as hosting, I could if necessary but I don't have a full-size table so it would be a tight squeeze if we got more than like 6 ppl.

We play $5/$10 HOE in the DC area. PM me for details. There's plenty of $1/$2 NL games around the area. Georgia Ave is tired of shipping it for $180 by check insta-calling All-ins with Ace High, I think that's why he wants to take a break and swith to the low limit "let's just have fun" poker.

I'm in. I live in parkville, and in the process of remodeling my place so I can't host. But Mt. Vernon's really close so I'm good with that.

It seems we have several 2+2ers in the area. Sounds like a good way for me to lose some money.

Sorry about not returning your PM Mia, I've been refinishing my hardwood floors this week, so haven't been on much lately. Not to mention yours is only my 2nd PM so I really never even check. But, you can definitely count me down as interested/in if we can get something together. I'm in Towson, so it sounds like we're all pretty close together

Wow, didn't know this many maryland players on 2+2... My parents live in baltimore, I am at school in salisbury.

OKAY We've got a bunch of players, and a host: KEW. Pasadena is about 20 minutes south of Bmore so I'd be a good place to set up.
Now the real tough questions: Which steaks? Well-done or rare?

What stakes? What games?

My choice would be 2/4 limit mixed games, because no-one's really an expert and it's a real, though small, amount of money. I'd personally accept up to 5/10, but any more than that is just spew for my non-balla roll.

I'd allow all games except acey-deucey which is the spawn of the devil.

Hows this week/weekend look? I say we pick a day and roll with it. (Not friday tho' cuz TV on the Radio is playing at Sonar.)

Handguns welcome.

btw, 2/4 or below would probably be best for this broke law student's bankroll. I have a football game at 1 I think but late afternoon or evening should be OK.

I hope this game goes well and keeps on going. I am definitely interested, just bad timing on the first game. I'll be in AC, playing some 1/2NL and tourneys.

im at 33rd and north charles (hopkins)...i cant make a game this weekend, but i could prolly come a different time if it ever happens again

I also have 3 or more friends should/could be here..I can easily have 2 tables..1 round poker table and an octogon dinner table..There are plenty of chips and cards for an unlimited amount of games...Cashed in my Party points for 12 decks of plastic cards and 500 more poker chips plus my own chips and card I all ready had..So if maybe 5 or so want to play SNGs and another tables play ring games thats fine..So please all feel free to bring friends and plan on a long drunken night..Any and all are welecome to crash here..

Once we get the cards in the air I doubt we will stop for who knows when..Fell free to come after your dinner plans..If you wish I'll PM you my number and you can call ahead before coming down..All home games need a second wave of players..
