Never mind if it's a big tournament or not. If he keeps getting good results with high frequency, it should mean something. According to Harrington, the edge between expert and typical tournament player shouldn't be that huge. But I don't know, I only play cash and hang in a bandwagon. It's us against Hellmuth nuthangers. He's far from just your ordinary poker fanatic and is more akin to a very skilled rounder around the quieter (more lucrative) games in hollywood.

Without looking at CP, it'd be fair to assume Brian Haveson, Nick Frangos, Micky Appleman, and D'Agostino are all in the top 10 as well. The USPC sucks.

maybe now people understand

I don't think you can be chiplead for the last five (?) days in the main event with a record breaking field and win it all on luck. and, never being out of the top 100 overall.

I'm not saying he's not good, but if you look at Main Event champs the following year they tend to have decent success because many times they are given lots of chips in situations where they normally wouldn't since other people are so desperately trying to beat them out of a pot/knock them out so they can go home with a story.

Lol I just listened to his rounders interview. This is perhaps the cockiest person in the history of anything.

I wish him no tournament success.

And what pray-tell have you based this on? In-depth quantitative analysis, or your razor-sharp intuition?
