Miami

do they just suck really hard or what?

Re: Miami

Yes, see my 500 posts this summer about winning close games against crappy teams during their awesome winning streak last year.

Apparently they were just the medicine #1 overall needed.

Wait are you saying they should give the ball to their best player? lol Mularkey - I saw that awesome 2pt conversion.

Should the Dolphins fall to last in every power ranking this week? I mean...i root for them but you just don't lose to Houston. Or was Mario Williams to much to handle?

The AFC East is going to be a much tougher division than most people expected. But, the Dolphins aren't going to be a factor in that.

Linehan was the same way last year. 1st and goal from the 5 means 4 straight passes,

Isn't it nice watching this happen to another team? I wonder if Mularkey will still be there after the bye week.

meh, the Jets are better than expected, but the Dolphins are much worse. (I thought that would be ok - they look real bad). So call that a wash. Buffalo is a bit better than expected. So the division has 1 very good team (Patriots, I think), 1 decent team (Jets), and 2 below average teams (Dolphins, Bills).

Just about what people thought before the season.

Mularkey is a saboteur, he's still loyal to Buffalo! His poor coaching for two seasons was just an elaborate ploy.http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/w...2_mularkey.wma

Harrington is looking good so far.

Re: Miami

Anybody who watched this game have any comments? I only saw bits&pieces and keep hearing Harrington played well. The offense scored 10 points and 2 int's led to NE's only 2 TD's, so, I'm wondering what I'm missing. Or was it just a case of him sucking less than Culpepper?

I thought Harrington looked OK. His first INT wasn't a "good" throw, but it was a nice read and jump by Samuel. (I think?). The second INT was a pretty poor throw, but even that was lucky to be picked off. It was thrown behind Welker who got his hands on it, but he couldn't hold onto it, and the DB made a nice play to come up with it.

I haven't seen many Dolphins games this year, but Harrington looked pretty comfortable, and considering it was his first game, I didn't think he looked incompetent.

They just won the title in June! No reason D-Wade can't do it again.

Re: Miami

Harrington only got sacked once which drew a 15 yard facemask penalty. Culpepper has been sacked 21 times in 4 games for about -7.5yards a sack which kills the dolphins drives. Did the OLine suddenly turn probowl in 1 week. I don't think so, culpepper was just terrible. Ronnie Brown was ineffective for the game, so Harrington did well with what he had. The second pick was just unlucky. Mare also played terrible. i am surprised the dolphins don't get a fg kicker and let Mare just do kickoffs.

Saban's post-game:

"I dont know how to coach mess-ups. I dont know how to coach guys who know the things they are supposed to be able to do. I dont know how to coach that."

Why do owners still hire college coaches. This guy is pathetic.

Re: Miami

Well they did narrowly avoid sweeps vs. the Bolinger-led Jets and Losman-led Bills last year so he must be a great coach.
