explain it please, I know its this p2p streaming TV, but I don't know much about it and I would like to learn.

Re: ***Official 2006-07 Champions League Thread***

Basically, there are a variety of p2p programs that you can get different stuff on. This page tells you which match comes on which stream on which program.

BTW, Olympiakos-Valencia is what I'm watching and it's a really good match. 2-1 just before half; wide open game.

If you have Setanta, the Chelsea game will be live. The Barca game will air on tape delay immediately after the Chelsea game.

We've got all 8 here in the UK. The English clubs are playing on the network, and the other 6 are on satellite. The cool thing is that when you're watching one match it pops up at the bottom of the screen Goal Alert! Barca 4-0 Sofia (press red to watch), and you press red and it shows you the goal, and then you push the back button and it takes you back to the match you were watching. Just awesome.

they've always showed group games. Back in the late 90s they would show 4 champions league games a week(during group games and all KO rds til the semis) and would show a La Liga game on mondays at 2:30 est

Re: ***Official 2006-07 Champions League Thread***

I thought the last couple years they were only showing the knockout games, but maybe I just missed the group games because I'm an idiot.

Re: ***Official 2006-07 Champions League Thread***

Chelsea didn't look too bad. Shevchenko still doesn't seem to be in the groove yet. But Chelsea controlled most of the action and had an effective defense.

Wish ESPN would put it in HD instead Either way, still rocks to have them carry the games. Especially since Time Warner is retarded and doesn't have Setanta or GolTV.

Funny (and great) to see Inter lose, by the way.

naw, u just must've missed out on the games. I still miss the old days of ESPN2 showing games from 2:30-6:30 est and then a LaLiga game on monday. 6 games a week on espn2 was awesome, cause then a MLS game would happen on saturday. That was a great time to watch espn.

Of course, ESPN used to show the EPL on like 1 month delay back in the early 90s and I barely remember watching aresenal beat liverpool on the final day for the 89-90 title. I wasn't into soccer then, but there was nothing else better to watch on tv

Re: ***Official 2006-07 Champions League Thread***

Group A thoughts:

Barca and Chelsea should easily be through. This was supposed to be the group of death. But Werder Breman showed little against Chelsea. And Levski got crushed by Barca. (OTOH, both Chelsea and Barca were at home.)

Both Barca and Chelsea should be able to get 12 points from the Levski and Breman games, making the Barca/Chelsea games almost meaningless.

Re: ***Official 2006-07 Champions League Thread***

Holy crap. Real is down 0-2 to Lyon. And Man U is now up 3-2. And it's only the 47th minute!

And Aresenal actually has a lead for once.

Man, how good is Saha. Tons of pace, very good at creating space for himself, times his runs well, and strong with both feet. You can see why they let Van Nistelrooy leave.

totally agree, his strength at getting someone else off of his back, making space and quickly taking advantage is just so fantastic for the team. him and rooney in front makes this team crazy good.
