New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

As anounced (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...=9#Post7132066)
my tool (now named SpadeEye) got his own Homepage: www.spadeit.com
and is ready to be shiped.

It is a tool for tableselection at Partypoker, and supports
Pokertracker (postgreSQL), Pokermanager (Firebird) and Pokeroffice (mySQL) databases.

I removed the datamining part of the very early versions because i read the Partypoker terms and conditions, and it seem to me that such a thing is not allowed. (Besides what will happen to Idleminer?)

Any feedback is appreciated
Greetings Snood

Can you explain how this differs from or is superior to Sixth Sense?

Mr_Snood 09-11-2006 02:03 AM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Well, i never tried Sixth Sense in detail, so i hope i wont tell any wrong things.

Basically it seems to me, that the two are the same.
SpadeEye scans the Partypokerlobby and retrieves the player statistics from your local databases without the need to open the table window.

I can try to summary the main differences:
- Once purchased, SpadeEye is completely independent and runs locally on your pc.
- It supports not only Pokertracker (postgreSQL) databases, it also supports Pokermanager (Firebird) and Pokeroffice (mySQL) databases.
- Its cheaper. One pay once 12$ to get one unlimited license for 1 PC, no monthly fee.
- Currently SpadeEye only supports Partypoker client.

SpadeEye is still in developement to offer more and more features from time to time.

Can your program look through more than one DB when it is checking stats? For instance if I have two DBs and am looking to play on the Party $50 tables, can I configure this software to look thru both DBs (Party$25 and Party$50)at the same time?

Mr_Snood 09-11-2006 12:32 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Yes. Just add as many databases as you wish (Options -> Databeses tab...).
All databases that have been added will be sequentially opened and treated as one big database.
You should even be able to mix databases, for example Pokermanager Firebird and Pokeroffice mySQL databases...

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

will this work with PT access databases?

Mr_Snood 09-11-2006 12:57 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Up to now Pokertracker Access databases are not supported.

But its one of the top points on the todo list.
Hopefully till Friday or on Weekend Access support will be added, so stay tuned

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

The one big difference I see in the two programs is the Sixth sense has a rating program for the table. You can click on fish score an quickly find the top X tables to wait for. With your program there seems to be no rating criteria, and while it would work for finding tables, I like 6th sense to see if I should still be sitting at certain tables.

Also sixth sense allows us to customize the scoring method.

If I could suggest a feature of your program, would be to add stars support as quickly as possible. Just for that one feature I could justify both programs, especially since you are accepting stars funds for payment.

Mr_Snood 09-11-2006 07:23 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Thanks for your response, Dennisa.

Today i added the ability you described.
One can enter now a Screenname in the Options (Profile-tab). Whenever a table gets scanned and the Player is found, the tablename will get a green backgroundcolor.
So its possible to see on which tables one currently is...

Thats not all.
I added a the ability to Datamine.
I try to describe the main features:
- Tables gets opened and closed automatically.
- One can specify for example the average Potsize a table must have in order to get opened/stay open.
- one can specify to open only tables with a specific number of unknown player. Where one can define what "unknown" means. Also tables gets closed and replaced by new ones if the "unknown" restrictions not hold anymore...
- It is possible to specify a list of stakes to datamine.
If in the current stake no tables can be found, which meet the restrictions, SpadeEye switches to the next limit, and so on...

I hope you can give it a try, although its not all done yet.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Hi,

A new version (1.35) is out now.
added: Empirepoker support.
added: Button to join the tables.
Till now there was only a button to open the selected table.
Now its possible to join the waitinglist by a simple click.
If the table is not full the table gets opened instead.
Added :A small guide on how to datamine more than 12 tables at once with SpadeEye :
http://www.spadeit.com/guide.php#more

Tomorrow i will hopefully have the time to add Pokertracker Access database support...

oh jeez! another party software, go stuff it!

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Please ensure that you don't use Version 1.35 or 1.36.
With the addition of Empire support a big typing error in Tabledetection showed up.
New fixed Version 1.37 is out with Pokertracker Access database support.

unless I missed it in your program, some sort of caching method for databases would be awesome, if that would have an effect on speeding things up that is. BTW, I like it so far.

It's on the todo list

@ Unabridged
Sooner or later i will add the ability to pay with credit card.
Up to now one can also pay with Partypoker interaccount playertransfer. The problem here is the minimum transfer amount of $50, so one have to trust me and send $70 to me, and i will send $50 back.
Write me a PM or email me (SpadeEye@spadeit.com) for details.
I'am faster available via ICQ (my number 86080479) or Skype (ip.config) to get such a deal cleared...

Your Download (setup) link is not working. I was able to download the alternative zip file, but when i try to run it says "configuration incorrect..."

Any fix, I would like to try this program.

Mr_Snood 09-16-2006 05:53 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Thanks, i fixed the download link of the setupfile.

To fix the error "configuration incorrect":
The Setup file should be able to fix this leak, if not, then download the "Microsoft .net 2.0 redistributable" from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...dd-aab15c5e04f5
and install.

isnt this the same as poker table scan... i havent really looked at much detail into the program but this is just the first thing that came into my head when reading the OP.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Yes it is, but it supports not only Pokertracker Access and PostgreSQL databases, it supports Pokermanager Firebird and Pokeroffice mySQL databases too.
Plus the ability to datamine automatically...

that and its not month to month pay service. I dont know much about programming, or what the complete difference between the two programs are (yours and sixth sense), but really once you have a caching method so it does a Full Scan a bit faster, than imo this is the program for me.

im having trouble getting the unknown players function working. should i run a full scan before i start it?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Hooked it up last night and I must say I'm quite pleased Snood. I thought I was doomed to haveta go back to slow-ass PT for good table selection, but this saved me!! Get that cache thing going and it's on baby!!

Great app, and not too expensive. You should set up a PayPal account or something so you can accept payments by cc.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Tried it last night, and I like it! Works fast and much more reliable than PTS. Defianlty a purchase.

Thanks Snood for your hard work, and for not porking us w/ a monthly fee!

any plans for pokerstars?

punter11235 09-20-2006 08:40 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Your software looks nice and I will probably buy it.
There is one very important feature missing (probably the most important feautre) : searching for guys with specific stats. I dont care what is "avg" for the table as I play NL. I only care about tables which has one or two 40+ VPIP guys. Any chance it will be possible soon ?

EDIT : it should be possible to specify stats (like VPIP 40+, PFR any, total hands 80+) and then ask the program to find tables with one such guy, two such guys etc..

Once you add that feature I am insta buying the software and never look for 6th sense again

EDIT2 : also it would be great (maybe it is btu I cant do it) to be able to scan more than one limit at once and have all the tables in one list

EDIT3 : I imagine you are busy but here is another great feature : possibility to export/import/add from text file buddy lists; will be great

Mr_Snood 09-21-2006 05:59 AM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Currently there are no plans and not ime for Pokerstars.

@ punter11235
It is planed to expand the filter, so that one can search for tables like you said.

The import and export from text file buddy lists is also planed but not so soon.
The other requests have to be coded first

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Can this support arbitrary games, like PLO?

Mr_Snood 09-21-2006 10:49 AM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

Currently only "Limit" / "No-Limit" and "Pot-Limit" Hold'em is supported.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

After I got it set up properly it worked like a charm and I bought it.

Make sure the file path to Party is correct and a txt file extension is used.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

i want the table to be highlighted if one of my "buddies" is on it

Mr_Snood 09-21-2006 09:10 PM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

This is no problem.

For the future version a better filter will be added,
so that one can search for tables with buddies,
or tables with player with a specific VPIP and so on...

Meanwhile you can sort the tablelist by the "# Buddies" column by clicking on the header.
So the tables with the most number of Buddies on will be on top/bottom.

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

how do i make it only show the limit i want on the main screen?... right now it shows all the limits for me... i added the limits i wanted in the limit tab in options... but still shows all...

Mr_Snood 09-22-2006 07:05 AM

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

The limit in the options is only the configuration for the dataminingpart.

For the scanningpart, SpadeEye always chooses the currently displayed limit within the pokerclient software.

So i think you have selected for example "Limit Hold'em" instead of "$1/2" in the tree.
So all Limit Hold'em games are displayed and therefore scanned, instead of one particular stake.

Has anyone run security checks of the software? It's been proven to be safe? Results?

Re: New Software SpadeEye: Tableselection (@PP)

an "Auto FullScan" option would be sweet, i'd like it to re full scan every five minutes or so
