if you sign up for mansion through rakereduction and you bet the free bet at the sportsbook, does that count against mgr?

I just asked RR this same question: "the sportsbet does not count against gross rake and bonuses do not count against rake on mansion."

If you already have a Mansion account you are not eligible for rakeback.

You should show up in tomorrows stats..

A friend of mine told he has got only a fraction of the rakeback (Mansion/rakereduction) he is good for this far. According to him Mansion is a very good site to earn some money on but rakeback deal thru you is just a joke. What do you have to say?

Red Lion 09-05-2006 09:55 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Nice post troll. RR is a very reputable affiliate.

svedupetteri 09-05-2006 10:00 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Yep, I guess they are reputable and I guess the problem is originally Mansion's, not RR's (= Mansion doesn't send them correct reports?). But I just want to hear if RR confirms that and if they do - why are they affiliate of Mansion's if Mansion doesn't get the digits right?

RakeReduction is head and shoulders the best affiliate in my opinion. I have been with them for many months and the service they provide has been nothing short of perfect.

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Try contacting customer support before publicly bashing an affiliate. I'm sure there is a logical reason for this.

Thanks for coming to our defense

With regards to Mansion Poker, we were the first and one of the only affiliates to offer rakeback there.

A couple of things to note about them. The rake they show us is COMMISION PAID TO US. So what we have to do is figure out how much rake was actually done.. That's problem #1

Problem #2 is, the money paid to us is not in USD, so we have to convert it.

We have hopefully solved all problems and the rake is updated daily

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Goodygoody, maybe it works now, then. I'll wait couple of weeks and check with my friend if it does and sign up if eveything seems to work.

Btw, what's so difficult in converting a currency to another? Or to calculate rake when you know your commission? I mean, I understand it's extra work for you and that's never a good thing but do most players get correct amount of rakeback anyway, after you have done your calculations/conversion? Ie, is it "only" extra work for you or does it affect how much players eventually get?

RakeReduction 09-05-2006 06:02 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

The currency is always changing..

Also converting is hard for our automated parser to pick up *at first* we shoul dhave it all fixed

I also use RR, and have rakeback at mansion. There have been no problems on my end. Now I just have to figure out how to clear the $1100 bonus I got for betting PITT.

Seriously, you will not go wrong with RakeReduction.com

kdub1777 09-06-2006 09:35 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Yeah, what is the easiest way to clear that $1100 bonus for betting PITT? I am wondering that as well.

TheSteak77 09-07-2006 02:45 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Well, I have to say I have had problems with this rakeback deal and still have. I haven't got nearly as much as I should. And about all the help I get from Mansion is "contact your affiliate" or "we'll get back to you" (and of course they don't) and RakeReduction (or their Rakeupdate page actually) says they can't do anything either.

I've got about 0,1 dollars per table hour playing NL 0.25/0.5 and 0.5/1 and pots at Mansion are quite big so there is no way I get as much as I should.

How much have you others got? And you RR guys, if you want to comment this, I guess my user name here tells who I am.

FCBLComish 09-07-2006 10:49 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Easiest way to clear the bonus? I guess in the casino, probably baccarat.

Best way to clear the bonus? Probably poker, $10 at a time. Hopefully a lot of people will want to clear the bonus and the poker room will be busier.

Will the bonus affect the rakeback?

RakeReduction 09-07-2006 11:07 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

If Mansion reports the stats are XYZ, thats what we report to you the player. We email them they tell us the stats are accurate, there's not much more we can do.

We certainly don't fudge the #'s one way or the other, we can only report and upload the stats they give us

The best course of action is to ask mansion what your exact rake values were and compare to what we have uploaded each day.

TheSteak77 09-07-2006 02:08 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Don't know how many times I already have asked Mansion what my exact rake values were but they first asked me to use Mansion points to determine the amount of rake because they don't have "a system to track individual player's rake". And according to my Mansion points my fair share of rake is about 5 times more than I've got rakeback for. After I told them (and you) that about a month ago, nothing has happened. I still may got like one single dollar after multitableing 4 tables for four hours and that just can't be right.

Now I'll e-mail Mansion once more and tell them you asked me to ask for those stats. I don't really believe I'll get any decent answer this time either but I'll try anyway.

To put it bluntly, their affiliate program is brand new, they are still working out the kinks.

I really don't know if my RB there was off or not.
But it seemed reasonable to me...perhaps a little lower than I expected.

Do we know if they do contributed or dealt-hand method?

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

From what they told us.. Dealt Hand method.. Everyone gets an equal share..

So if I signed up for the sports betting to get the steelers bonus, am I now screwed for getting rakeback in the poker room?

Wow, stats were updated today and I got 0,03 dollars! That's some excellent rakeback...

I noticed you contacted Serah to get this matter taken care of.. Did she send you the stats? Beyond that, we only report what Mansion sends us

Any one know if sportbook wins count against MGR?

TheSteak77 09-08-2006 06:55 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Yeah, I have contacted her about ten times and now finally I MIGHT get (don't know when) some stats that show my rake as Mansion sees it.

TheSteak77 09-09-2006 10:18 AM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

I saw the stats were updated again. This time I got 0,08 dollars...

RakeReduction, do you know which date the stats refer to? When you updated today, which date's stats were they? From dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm to dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm?

RakeReduction 09-09-2006 12:15 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Can you please take this matter off the forum and into the intra account email system at rakeupdate. I don't think everyone else wants to read this ongoing matter.

You can instant msg us, private msg me here, email us or use the intra account email system.

Thank you

RakeReduction

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

I have e-mailed both you (RR) and Mansion CS + Serah (your affiliate manager at Mansion?) for TWO MONTHS now and I still get totally incorrect stats. Do you really think this can be solved by sending more e-mails? Besides, you never know, someone else might be interested in reading an answer to my question as well?

TheSteak77 09-10-2006 12:01 PM

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

So, stats were updated once again. My stats (as of today) at rakeupdate are like this:

Mansion Poker Current Month Totals
Rakeback Percent: 35 %
Money Into Rake: $ 4.13
Money Made Current Month: $ 1.45

I just downloaded hand histories for all my sessions since Friday this week (only 3 days, that is) and checked total rake during these sessions and it was $359,15. And I have got $1,45 this whole MONTH. There are max 9 players at the table so my part of rake would be at least $39,9 ($359,15 / 9) and rakeback 35% of that = $13,97. And there seems to be some empty seat(s) or someone sitting out all the time so real amount might be 10-25% more. Summa summarum, I have got only about 10% of what I should have.

Edit: Missed one session in my calculations above so total rake is actually $18 more than stated above.

Re: Mansion poker rakeback

Seems like Mansion is not reporting your rake correctly.

Why don't you try another site?

If/when Mansion gets it sorted out you can go back.

RR, if you ask them nicely, may even cover your $15 if you aren't able to recoup it.

My $15? It's more like $500 what my rakeback should be this far alltogether.
