can't comment on exact figures, but david ran well first playing at bellagio 4k/8k mixed game. 20 mil seems excessive for one week, but not outside realm of possibility for his overall score. important also to keep in mind that in this game only limit portions are 4k/8k - this mixed game also includes nlhe, nl 2 to 7 single draw, nl A to 5 single draw, and plo, with exact mix depending players, but usually with 100k cap.

I saw who I believe was Benyamine playing someone headsup in Bobby's room Monday. It wasn't headsup the whole time but was shorthanded (3 or 4) for a while and then headsup for a while. I only glanced a couple times but the guy someone said was Benyamine had a ton of chips. Not too concrete, but gossip is gossip.

It seems with the NL/PL games mixed in 20M isn't entirely unlikely. Hasn't there been some big straight-NLHE going in there also when the mixed game wasn't going? (100/200 and 200/400?)

the NL/PL games are capped at $100k from what i've heard. winning 200 times that in a week is just not possible.

say you're playing in a 20/40 (maybe 10/20??) blind game with $1000 cap per hand. is it possible to win 200k in a week playing LIVE? no effin way!!!

oh yeah these are mostly the best players in the world you're playing against btw

gp, how big do they play? one would think that tonyg would be pretty precise if they were playing bigger and note that.

all, even if a lot of it comes from the pl or nl sections of the game, we're talking he'd have to run totally sick hot. i too call bs on this one. we're talking about getting it in for the maximum (assuming heads up pots) 200 times more than he got it in and lost. or of course the "equally" likely idea that he is up a gillion bets at the limit section.

come on, there's no way in hell he's up that much. it even takes a significant amount of time to go up 10 million playing heads up 100/200k or whatever apparently, so yeah. wtf people.

In April when I was out in LA during the LAPC the big gossip was that Benyamine was stuck over 10M in the big game that week.

I don't believe this is true.

There was an episode of The Circuit where someone (Matusow?) did say that Benyamine was winning a lot.

But $20M is implausible.

Two nights ago in Bobby's Room a NLHE game was going with 100/200/300 blinds no cap. Not sure if David was in it but its not just 4k/8k.

That's what I'm freaking saying..I would do just that. Then with the $1 mil a year I make, I would go down to lower limits and play just to put bad beats on people. I'm a bad person.

My immediate reaction to that was that it was a typo or something and he meant 2mil, 20mil is just not possible unless they really upped the stakes and cap.

There were recently rumors he was stucka bunch of mil in that game, maybe people just like speculating about him.

Wasnt he one of the softer players in the 5k NL on UB back when it was the biggest game on there?

Didn't they used to play 8k/16k consistantly but it was too high for most players. I think that's what it said in Barry G's book. 20 million is definitely a ton. The guy I guess if this is true is on an absolute sick heater.

They player 8/16k during the WPT event in April. I would imagine they are playing at least that now during the World Series.
