Found it.

Can anyone confirm?

Looks legit.

Re: NYUers help me

Don't go there, it's not even close to a real Chick-Fil-A. The ones they put in dining places at colleges are really bad. I haven't been to this one but it looks exactly like ones I have gone to.

Re: NYUers help me

Daver,

The_Yogurt_Kid is correct. It won't be the real deal, it'll be a scaled-down version and it probably won't be good.

If you are going for your first Chic-fil-A experience, do it at a real restaurant...

buffett 06-15-2006 02:18 PM

Re: NYUers help me

I disagree. I think you should go even if it is "bad." The Chick-fil-A at Penn was probably the worst I've ever been to (bad service, etc.), but I still went there all the time because...duh...it's Chick-fil-A.

obviously you know I meant chic-fil-a restaurant, not a mall kiosk.

but whatever.

Seriously - the nearest Chick-Fil-A to me is Redondo Beach, pretty far away. I would kill for a crappy version of Chick-Fil-A that was closer.

I can recommend a good one 30 minutes from Manhattan if you have a car.

The DaveR 06-15-2006 03:18 PM

Update!

Some entrepreneurial 2+2er PM'd me, offering to procure some Chick-fil-A from said location "for the right price!"

considering the scenario, sit down to order fast food. Just because they have a waitress doesn't mean its not fast food. I remember when I was a little boy Pizza Hut was served by a waitress not at a countertop... it was sit down fast food back then too, my family wouldn't consider that to be worthy of the title restaurant. Fast food places are the bottom feeders of the food industry!

Is your idea of a big night going to the Lobster Hut? Is TGIF's a romantic dinner for two? Do you have business meetings at McDonald's? If so then you aren't qualified to talk about what is and is not fast food. Get out and experience life a bit,eat at a 3 star Michelin restaurant, and you'll come back laughing when someone says Pizza Hut is not fast food.

Re: NYUers help me

TT I think you're being a little crazy. What are we supposed to call Chic-fil-A if not a restaurant? You can call it a fast food restaurant if you want, no one's trying to argue that it's gormet, high quality food. Either way though, there's really nothing more appropriate than "restaurant". Let's say you owned one and someone asked what you did. Fill in the blank

"I own a Chic-fil-A"
"What's that?"
"It's a _________"
