...and I've smoked weed every day for the past few months except for yesterday and today. I am going to stop smoking for good now, but I am going to have to take this test pretty soon. What are my options? I just graduated college and I really need this job. I appreciate any input. Thanks.

you will probably fail, unless you are able to mask it.

None of those products (regardless of what anyone tell you) will "flush" your system of the thc--it just doesn't work like that.

I recently had to take a drug test. I drank cranberry juice for a week straight and was on a regimen of pills i bought off the internet. Before the test I aslo took "strip" a product bought at GNC along with some "quick flush" capsules. ** i realize i am going against what i said.**

before i left, i took a home drug test and failed. then, i went to the fancy testing facility and took the test. my urine was very green, but i passed. go figure.

A friend of mine actually passed his by bringing a tiny bit of bleach to put in his sample. Plus, he was taking some pills that were supposed to "detoxify" him.

I forget the product but these things work, even on short notice. I smoked sat night, took a test mon morning, Sun night I took a few pills. About 2-3 hrs before the test I drank this 'shake' that masks the drugs. You drink that and a lot of water and you pass the test. I forget the name of the product but any head shop will have it.

Replace your piss with clean. You will not be observed during the test.

Temp is key weather you use a clean friends, or purchased dehydrated.

(purchase the clean dehydrated urine, is comes with a tube, temp gauge and heaters). Same day shipping available, but you'll be ok with 2nd day it sounds.

Oh, by the way, buy 2 kits. Some places have begun requiring 100ml rather then 50ml as in the past. If this happens and you do not have 100ml, under NO circumstanes suplement with your own.

I've thought about this option, but I'm not sure if it will fly. Do you think I could tell them I've smoked marijuana and then ask them if I could take the test in a few weeks to show them I've remained clean? It's a bank that I will be working at. Absolutely not - coming from someone employed in financial services for the last eight years.

If anything, tell them something has come up in your family (or whatever excuse) and you need to move your start date, if that's acceptable with them. Then postpone your drug test as well, as a separate action (ideally by scheduling it directly with the testing center, not with HR at the bank). That's still not the best move, but its better than admitting you've smoked.

i am starting a consulting job in september, does anyone here work in consulting that could tell me whether you had to take a drug test? i haven't heard anything about one, but that doesn't really mean anything. the job is with mckinsey, if anyone has personal experience with that firm.

if it is a possibility that i have to take a drug test and i just haven't heard about it yet, how soon before the job would i have to stop smoking?

If you are an independant, you will not, if through an agency, you may, but it will be for the agency, not the client, although it may be at the clients request.

Beside non-disclosures, the actualy company you will work at (key 'at', not 'for') cannot subject you to pre-employment screening because you will not be an employee.

I wouldn't worry, I've been a chronic for years and I had to take a test for life insurance. Just stop smoking 3-4 days beforehand. Pot is out of your pee in 3 days, out of your blood in 3 weeks and out of your hair in 3 months. So don't woory, especially if it's in a few weeks and you've stopped smoking already. Hope that helps.

Just relaying what I was told. When I took my test I was a chronic everyday smoker for more that 5 years. All I did was stop for 3 days and I passed my test.

this is absolutely incorrect. SOMETIMES ppl get by with staying clean for a few days and get lucky, but no, it can take up to a month to get out of your pee easily, more the more you have smoked. the best advice i can give you is trying anything and everything to push off your test and stay clean. whatever excuse you give....getting 3 or 4 weeks is a big bonus but anything you can get. also if you dont exercise, get your metabolism going by exercising a lot, itll help (note: do not get your metabolism going by smoking more weed! i have a friend that tried this, and well....it wasnt pretty). drink water, helps flush your system, drink some before the test too. gl.

or, since you don't need it ASAP, look for something online. they're much cheaper online.
