Re: Date question
Pool hall FTW
I took out a 16 yr old when I was 17 to a pool hall and wound up banging in the back of my car. Make sure to be really sleazy while you play. |

Re: Date question
first date wise cinema is obviously the best since you don't have to constantly make small talk, although you can always go somewhere before/after if you want to do that. Plus its dark in there.

Re: Date question
Didn't you mean to say 15?? And yeah, aren't you gay? Does she know you "were"?
Back to OP, I would say movie or a museum if you're so inclined....any kind of festival or fair coming up? Amusement park? Get Daddy to take you, ldo. T |

I am looking for a relationship not to hit it and quit it fwiw [/ QUOTE ] movies an awful idea. It's way too standard for a first date. The first date is her first impression of you relationship-wise. Since neither of you can drive (your 18 and can't drive?) then I suggest a fairly fine restaurant in a mall (like a P.F. Changs or Cheesecake Factory quality), afterwards you can explore the mall or whatever, then maybe end it with some icecream while waiting for your parents to pick you up I choose a more social setting over the movies because 1) this is your first date, and first real opportunity to really have some 1on1 talk time, getting to know each other. movies are for established couples or idiots on first dates that aren't interesting enough to entertain her with their personality for a few hours 2) I'm not sure what 2 is now, but maybe it was to see how she acts in a public setting regardless, if you two are good for each other, then you'll be able to keep a steady conversation the majority of the night... and if your not, no point in taking her to the movies only to discover 3 dates later when you finally talk to her that she's lame. |
Re: Date question
JereLock,
you're actually wrong btw....just an FYI. I obviously didn't read your entire book though. |
Re: Date question
Kolo,
does this girl know that you were (are you still?) gay? |
Re: Date question
I sort of agree with JereLock. The only downside is that some girls are going to want that "no small talk" buffer zone before they are on the spot. Just because a guy is comfortable with small talk doesn't mean that she is. And if she isn't at first, she might warm up a little bit over time.
Doing JUST a movie seems pointless as you're going to get like 20 minutes of discussion at most throughout the entire night. |
Re: Date question
no but knows I read cosmo/vogue and have camp tastes
|
Re: Date question
Anywhere your van with the blacked-out windows and superpumped sound system looks inconspicuous.
|
Re: Date question
Do some type of fun activity. I know this isn't very specific, but I'm not exactly what you crazy kids do for fun over there. Definitely don't go out to dinner and definitely don't go to a movie, those are terrible terrible terrible first date ideas.
|
Re: Date question
Bowling.
Plus this has the advantage you can snap her bare feet with your concealed camera for later. |
Re: Date question
i think you should skip the date and take yourself to a psychologist.
|
Re: Date question
why?
|
Re: Date question
go to the local pond/lake and feed the ducks
|
Re: Date question
What I'm saying is that theres no point in dating a girl that you don't click with... and a first date that maximizes social time but is fairly original will be awesome.
What part of the country do you live in? A beach trip, mountain trip, or picnic at the park are also fantastic ideas. P.S. - lets assume you get thru this... date 2 should definitely be ice skating (especially if she doesn't really know how... increased physicalness = gold) |

|
Re: Date question
