Official Other Sites Regulars Thread(UB, Abs, etc): Part II

SSNL is doing these again for a week so I figure ill save myself 45 PMs and open them up for the same timeframe. Same rules as last time, if you all abuse the privledge I will lock these, ban and then well never have them as long as Im modding.

1. NO FLAMING. Abuse your privledge and its lost. This will be heavily moderated.
2. No outting 2p2ers.
3. Keep discussion clean and to the point.
4. Use common sense

Just for the record, I am not AceOfSpades on UB, but I do know this player pretty well. I saw that hand go down and he actually played it pretty well:

Board: 6s 2c 5c
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 47.929% 47.47% 00.45% 470 4.50 { JdJs }
Hand 1: 52.071% 51.62% 00.45% 511 4.50 { 8c6c }

Bad call by JJ, if anything.

Well, I guess this shows that he's not a nit. Also, you have to consider that he is very deepstack and is up against a bad player that he is comfortable playing postflop against. You can't be so rigid with preflop hands.

the problem is, I doubt he's playing 68s oop for anything but 2pr, trips, or big draw

it's just not profitable

the b/3b line here is std. draw from a nitty regular

and yep, JJ getting 1.5:1, terrible call

I just can't see stacking off for 150 BBs with JJ being a profitable play ever. Also, I tend to play a looser style (semi-LAG) and I can definitely tell you that having a wider preflop range makes stacking regs that can't fold overpairs really easy. I think a big draw is the low end of his range in this spot, you're lucky you were only a slight dog.

Luckbox 100000 seems really solid and I don't have a good read of his play (which is unusual for me vs regulars).

fuzz is OK but plays wayyyy too tight. He's also the biggest winner in my small sample size of hands over the last couple months (lol).

Dandell seems like he's the best out of the ones u named. He way overvalues overpairs (just from one hand I have on him vs AbraCadabra). He also makes some weird minraise plays (maybe it was a misclick?).

kawa I agree with you and I have a ton of history with him from us playing back at each other. We've calmed down significantly recently.

Welsh I have as surprisngly tigh 12/8/4. I'm pretty sure he usually plays more aggro than that but I was never particularly impressed by his play.

I've played surprisinly little with ktb but from what I've seen he's decent.

Bromley I have almost no hands on and he's crazzzzyyy tight over them.

I'm not "scared" of any regulars at 50NL and there definitely isn't anyone who will make me leave the table. I agree that in general the biggest weakness for everyone is blind play.

I just started playing on Bodog. I can't believe how soft this game is (playing 25NL as I could only deposit $150). No one particularly to avoid but if you find a semicompetent player avoid them because everyone else at the table will be horrible.

I play iPoker 50NL and I have 1k+ hands on the following;

Vedica. Plays 30/12. 8 tables the 8 max but seems to be trying to move to 6 max these days. Pretty bad and stacks off light.
ViziTDA. Nit 12/3, bad.
GhostPig. Shortstacking nit playing 12/1.86, only raises aces and kings and limps everything else pretty much. Bad.
Jwatt. Plays 47/18 and somehow is running @ +12.79ptBB. Terrible player.
Svedan. Awful multitabler playing 38/12. Never stops telling everyone how bad he runs.
Bandido007. Plays 77/1. Enough said.
Expekt293073. Plays 12/5, very nitty.
IPUSHUFOLD. Runs 16/5. Bad.
Vikapov. 25/6. Bad preflop but pretty decent postflop.
Corrdenr. 51/2. Awful.
Fra1. 64/4. One of my fav fish.
Besi1603. 24/5. Like Vikapov, poor preflop but nitty/decent post.

Hi Giggle,

Wow, I play this game a lot and only recognise a couple of names on your list. Maybe the player pool is wider than I thought.

Anyway, yeah, Sveden sucks.

I have 1000 hands on Vedica at 6M this month - I was looking at his stats earlier today and was absolutely shocked at his positional play. It is all over the place. No positional sense whatsoever. Seriously, I have no idea how the hell he survives. Shocking, and very surprising that someone can get away with playing the same UTG and on Btn. Amazing.

As for OptimusPrime, Jesus H. Christ, how does this monkey stay ahead? I see him again and again and again sucking out. It is incredible. He 12 outed me AGAIN today AI on turn AA v 57s, raised pot. An absolute joke. And he only has 2 moves: chasing draws and bluff shoving. Man, I hope he hits the wall soon.

Newbelief is new on the scene (moving up or down?). He is ok, but definitely running hot and nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Calling 3bs with TJs won't get the job done and is a sure sign he is running well.

Sunny Sunday is tough and aggro. But man, he 3bs a lot, and I owned him twice yesterday. No.1: I open 22 btn, he 3b, I call, flop Axx, he cbs strong, I raise, he folds, ownage. No.2: He thought he had 14 outs when he pushed over my cb. He didn't. Love it. I'd say he's one of you guys.

I also notice DantheMan back at 50 these days after a couple of months absence...I think he must be dropping after a shot at 100NL because he always seemed good to me.

SickManiac: 8 tabler. Yup, decent for sure. A good winner over my 800 hands on him this month. I'd say 2+2.

Other good regs: AnotherJannSmith, Slots, Dreew. A few others.

I suspect a fair few of these players are you lot.

Me? lol. I suck and if I outed my SN you would say I am a pathetic weak nit. But that is changing, and soon I will be fierce!

Firetribe? I only have 300 hands on you, and I have 3b you 3 times in that time. Each time, you have 4b pushed and I have folded. lol. Excellent numbers over my sample fwiw. You should definitely be a winning player. I won't out you but know you are 2+2.
