August was very busy for me with other things in my life (work, friends, muggings, etc) so I didn't get many hands in (also I've been scarce in these parts as well). I want to share my August graph, so I decided to start the Sep LC thread (past 1 AM here on the East Coast).

I finally feel like I'm catching on to HU. This is 8k hands of NL100 @ 11 bb/100 and 1k hands of NL200 @ 8 bb/100. Let the good run continue!

Still new to HU and am on my biggest downswing ever (13bi's) which is apparently nothing in HU cash. I was on target for my best month ever...what a pitty.

Goals for September:

40k hands minimum
4 buy in stop/loss a day
Dont let my ego get in the way and quit decent opponents (doing to be a tough one)

i had such a sick august...i only ended up 4.4k in the end, but i feel like i matured, again, greatly and it will pay itself off in the future. as for september im going to break the 20k mark.

this is my august graph...really just a pitiful month. i lost 4.3k in plo which isn't shown here. but as i said...despite the poor overall net profit...i think august may of been my best month to ever happen to me.

Holy mother of all weekends from hell.

Having a -$2500 day on a $3500 bankroll is really bad.

There were a few losses that were obvious tilt issues (where I should have stopped playing but didn't, or where I should have moved down and didn't), but there were so many sick beats after sick beats after sick beats laid down by the absolute worst players, that it literally made me want to cry.

This is by *far* the biggest downswing, in both $ amounts and buyin count, that I've had in almost 4000 heads-up sngs, and was especially painful because I had just started to go positive again after a 5 or 600 game break-even streak while I was trying to figure out how to not suck at turbos. (yes, I really am that slow of a learner, apparently)

I'm starting to make a little bit of a comeback now, but my god, was it brutal.

On the upside, in the middle of this really horrifically bad streak, I did get to take $110 from PrimordialAA, after we both thought we joined first, and ended up playing each other.

I definitely feel for ya there HokieGreg. My $2500 downswing (playing $220s and $110s) was full of stuff exactly like that. Great start to September. [censored] ton of viruses on my computer have kept me out of action last few days and now I'm coming down with some sort of sickness.

just dropped 36K fpps on pokerstars to get me a Wii and my wife a DVD player. Im pretty excited, as I have not bought a new gaming system since the original Playstation came out in like 1997 or whatever. I've been so busy over the last 10 yrs that I havent been able to make time for video games but i do love them and I hear the Wii is great.

I thought about the xbox but my wife cannot enjoy that system with me as it is too complex and will probably steal more time from me that I need to set aside for poker.

No idea, I don't direct connect with most people or accept files.

I saw the problem right away 2 days ago and have been dealing with a few things ever since. I think it's fixed or near being fixed, I'm receiving help from one of those free computer forums where they help you diagnose the problem and fix it. Not sure if I still have anything but I made a thread on the computer site just to be sure. I won't login to PS until I know this is resolved.

I didn't spend my FPPs for about 6 months on Stars in anticipation of them adding some new stuff like consoles. It never came so I got an iPod nano and one of those Bose sound docks.

the wii is amazing. I am the expert champion king of wii sports, no one can defeat me at any game except boxing. The boxing game sucks.

I just wish there were more cool games for it, but I hear in a few months there will be.

They need to add more courses for Wii Golf. Tennis is fun too.

I like that tanks game on the Wii Play disc.
