Guitar Hero II on XBOX360. I can\'t wait!
 

The waiting time is killing me. April 3rd in the US and April 24th here in Europe. Again you guys get a head start. It makes me so mad, I could just... HYACHACHACHACHA!

I haven't been able to find out if the controller will be wireless. I hope so. And the Xbox controller is much better looking than the PS2 one.

It's going to be soooo awesome! I'm probably going to have to get a long-haired wig to be able to head-bang properly.

i preordered @ EB today and she asked if i wanted to pre-order an extra wireless guitar. i'm like wtf it's wireless? hellz yeah! put me down for an extra one! i'm excited =D

There's a very good chance that "extra wireless guitar" actually means "extra guitar that will be wireless". Sadly the only thing most EB guys and gals know for sure is how to rake in pre-order monies.

i asked her more about it, and she said the guitar that comes with the game is wireless, and you can order an additional wireless guitar is 60 bucks

I really hope the controller is wireless. It's a bit weird that they don't mention it on Red Octane's web site though.

Other good news is that the EU launch seems to have been moved forward to April 6th.

I hope you're right about the controller being wireless. I haven't been able to find any other mention of a wireless controller on the net. And this picture of a setup at Best Buy looks discouraging. There's very clearly a wire:

FALSE. They are all wired for the time being. It is all over the net. No wireless for a while as M$ won't like Red Octane have their wireless technology yet.

and it would really be great if you could get GH1 songs on there, since I can't stand GH1 on a HDTV, without hyperspeed drives me nuts

Apparently if you go to Circuit City's website it's available now if you choose to pick it up at the store.

My store says it's available for pickup right now so I'm gonna go and see if this works.

Picked it up today at Circuit City after ordering online and choosing pickup at store... no problems at all.

I got a copy today (it pays to know someone that knows someone that works in games store) and played a couple of hours with a friend.

This game is awesome! So much fun. If you have a 360, then GET THIS GAME!

I do like that they changed the songs from the PS2 versions, at least on Hard(only difficulty I've played so far)

Just got it today. I've never played before, but I'm pretty decent on medium, mostly 5 stars. I tried Possum Kingdom on expert, and got my ass kicked hard.

Overall, I think the game is amazing. Only weird thing is that after I'm done playing a song, everything around the room gets really shifty ... I guess the moving fretboard is like a mindfuck for me.

I noticed this too after playing in the dark on my projector... looked over at my bed and it looked like the blankets were growing in size... seriously creeped me out first time I saw it.
