$5 on FTP for iPod Help
 

My computer was wiped out and I lost all my iTunes music. How can I get the music from my iPod back to iTunes?

Reload iTunes onto your computer. "Store" -> "Check for Purchases". Re-download your purchased music.

(You did buy everything legally, right?)

set as disk, open "invisible" folder called "ipod control," copy all contents to hard drive, drag into iTunes. All information should be intact.

click out of the ipod tab like back to music, click apply settings, ipod should open as a portable disk drive, go to tools -> folder options, click view tab, click show hidden files/folders, copy music folder to somewhere, import music folder to itunes, dont send me 5 dollars

There is nowhere to click apply settings. You have to explain where the buttons are.

click ipod tab, check enable disk use, then click music under library and a box will pop up asking you to apply settings or cancel, click apply

I clicked apply settings and have no idea where the portable drive is or where tools is.

I am sure they do but saying "ipod-tools-portable-dont send me 5 dollars" is so broad/blank/general. You need to say "in iTunes go the blank tab on the left, click blank on the bottom" etc etc.
